Tonight I originally went through drive up window and was ordering a couple of blizzards, that were adding extra things in it, these were not for me and I called it reses pieces instead of a peanut butter cup instead of her just saying it is called peanut butter cup the girl said we dont have that blizzard but instead of explaining it was called by another name , she than said I can't hear you, so I said no problem I will just come inside, I was waiting to be served by someone else which I believe was her manager named Kenny when she came over to serve me and I said oh I think you were the one i spoke with at the window and you couldn't hear me, she rolled her eyes at me, and I was trying to tell her what type of blizzards I wanted as it was not for me it was for my daughter and son in law instead of her helping me she gave me total attitude when I finally got her to submit my order I asked her politely did I do something wrong? i don't understand why you are giving me such attitude, she totally lost it, she cancelled my order told me she was not serving me, go somewhere else and get out! I was totally shocked i have never been refused service ever... she just kept saying you are not getting service here get out, leave. I said I would like to speak with your manager she said he won't serve you either get out, he came over she pushed him and told him he better not serve me, she made a big scene and he told her to go back to the drive through, he did serve me and he apologized, I was very shaken up by this incident and this girls outburst not just to me but also her lack of respect for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf it is possible to get zero stars, this review will be zero stars. But if it cant be zero stars, i will give it one star only because of a lack of options. i have been a frequent patron of Dairy Queen in douglassglen for years, the service or food has never been spectacular, but its close to home and convenient. Earlier today, my son, myself and my mom spent $40 (for two adults and an 8 year old) on lunch, of which the order was screwed up, but we rolled with it. No big deal, we can share fries. We had a coupon for a free small sundae (the ones that come with the meal) of which i allowed my son to take and redeem at the counter, after his hockey game on the same day. Apparently, there's a stamp on the back of each coupon that determines which location that coupon was distributed from...each coupon is still the exact same, just the stamp on the back that differs by location. At the end of the day, the coupon was not redeemed, because of the stamp on the back (even though we had eaten there earlier in the day and returned with the coupon after my sons game), and the quality of service and explanation of this fact that was given by a middle aged lady that is in management or ownership or a relative of one of the positions just mentioned. I told her to keep the coupon and that we would never be patrons of dairy queen again. The way the situation was handled was absolutely deplorable. **edit: based on similar reviews and perception of the owners and management, i'll file a more formal complaint with the appropriate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give a minus rating I would. Although it says contact the owner, it's the owner I'm complaining about. She is very very rude. Do NOT shake the credit card machine at me when you didn't hold it long enough for the tap to work and yell at me to insert my card. Then walk away and not speak to me. Although I (usually) like the food my coworkers won't go because of her and the service. I don't think I have ever seen her smile or welcome a customer or given a thank you. But god help you if you make a complaint! I was on the other end of that once before. Rather deal with an angry bear. Today I asked for fresh chicken strips, rec'd old dried up chicken. I couldn't even bite the end of the strip it was so dried up. Usually when I ask another girl I will get fresh ones. Also asked for a little extra gravy on my poutine as they put on a thimble full, it was watered down instead. Worst meal and service, can't complain, she doesn't care. Attitude is, if you don't like it don't come back. Not sure why the head office isn't doing something, most of the comments talk about the rudeness, there is a problem. They are also milking the covid thing, the doors still are not open, only the drive thru. Someone said, they probably don't want to spend the electricity, that can't be it, they don't turn any lights on anyway. Unless head office steps...
