Best Chinese food in South Calgary! We have been ordering from here for over 6 years now and like many other customers, we've had issues with 1 hour and 1/2 delivery time, along with the check in calls and "5 more minutes" or " on our way" responses. Whatever, forgive and forget. Last time we waited so long i didnt ask for a discount, I demanded it and got it. Did the inconvenience stop us from ordering again on the next Chinese food night? No. Still hands down the best Chinese food. Although slightly inconvenient, we opt for the pick up option to avoid the lengthy delivery time and our food is ready upon arrival (10 minutes after ordering). Yeah it's greasy... It's Chinese food, We don't order Chinese food because we're hungry for salad. Yeah its caked in MSG's and im full after 3 bites...but then i have bonus left overs! Yeah its probably over priced but eating out isnt cheap. We have tried Chinese food from other restaurants but it's always regretful and we always wished we ordered from Douglas Peking. BEST GINGER BEEF. BEST CHICKEN BALLS. We're here for a good time not a long time. Thanks for making Chinese food night amazing...

I called in and placed an order for delivery. I gave him my order and information and after I gave the man my address he said "Oh that's too far, I'll have to charge you $6 for delivery" (I live 10 km away...it's not like I'm accross the city). I said that's fine and then he tries to convince me to order from some where closer. I like their food and eat there often, so I said no I'd like to order from you. He says "okay bye" and hangs up. This, understandably, gave me the impression that he put in my order. Then I started thinking about it and I don't want to order from a place that makes such a big deal about delivering food even though they apparently offer delivery. I called back to cancel and he said he didn't put in my order! I would have been sitting here waiting for my food and never gotten it. He didn't even have the decency to tell me they were not placing my order! If you don't want to drive 10 km to deliver an order then don't offer delivery or at least put on your website that you will not deliver a over a specified distance. Terrible customer service. I won't be going...

So I called in wanting food delivered. almost 70 dollars in food. He quoited me 45 minuets. I was okay with that. I had no idea what I was getting myself into... After one hour of waiting. I called them asking how much longer it would be. He said they where on there way. about five more minuets. Cool right? not really. Waited twenty minuets and called again. He said that there where still on the way. wanted a discount. would not give. He said if food was cold call him again.
