Very diverse and interesting menu! The restaurant ambiance is great and the server was very nice. Convenient place to eat if you’re staying at the Marriott hotel. We tried their chicken pad Thai and tuna poke bowl. I personally really liked the pad Thai—it wasn’t overly sweet, a hint of spice, and a great nuttiness from the peanuts. The poke bowl was not bad. It definitely isn’t the traditional poke bowl you’d expect but it was a very refreshing salad. The dressing was kind of sour but light and there was a lot of different textures and ingredients going on. It is a bit pricey though but the serving size was enough to make us full.

District 48 Kitchen is located inside the Courtyard Marriott near Calgary Airport. I tried the tofu teriyaki bowl, which was cooked to perfection and had a fantastic mix of fresh stir-fried veggies and rice. The tomato cream soup was presented beautifully, accompanied by a side of crispy bread. The highlight of the meal was the Banana Foster dessert, which was scrumptious and incredibly satisfying. It made for a perfect evening meal after a long flight.

We had the smoked salmon and brisket eggs Benedict for breakfast. The presentation of the food was nice and the restaurant was very quiet and clean. Staff were friendly but did not check on us throughout the meal. Overall, the dishes were cooked well but we wished the hollandaise had more flavour.

Currently staying at the Marriott. Arrived from another location, so it’s been a tiring travel day. Kids wanted something quick to eat, so we got them take out, and ate at the hotel lobby. We thought it was the lobby, but turns out it’s part of the restaurant. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world, not once have I been told we are not welcome to eat take out food in a lobby. I agree outside food is not allow, establishment should put up a sign that reads “No Outside food allow” or rope it off since it’s not part of the lobby.

The funny thing is I’ve stayed in other higher end Marriott properties, in fact we checked out of an autograph collection property today, not once have I seen a restaurant in the hotel “blend” in with the hotel lobby. If they did they would put up a sign something like “No outside food” or had indication it’s not part of the lobby.

Oh well we planned on having a few meals here during the rest of our stay as 1) it’s convenient 2) Marriott bonvoy points. But after this incident I will not support this establishment during our stay at this...

I was at the Residence Inn for work for the past month, and myself and my coworkers spent plenty of time down at the restaurant. I was very impressed with the quality of the food; everything was super tasty, and I think we ended up sampling most of the menu by the time our stay was over. I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken and the Shanghai noodle bowl, but amongst the group, the other favourites seemed to be the wings and the steak sandwich.

Even better than the food was the service. Seamus and Anne served me the most and never left me wanting for anything. They were on the ball, and incredibly friendly! The rest of the staff was top notch as well; we had interactions with all of them, and they were all the epitome of what customer service should be!

If I had a small gripe, it would be the lack of larger tables in the dining area, but that's honestly super minor and the servers were always accommodating when it came to pushing tables and chairs together for us. Thanks for the...

Very good . Feels like a cross between an airport restaurant and a hotel lobby , but it really works well. Spacious seating areas of different types , ie , tables , soft seating , bar stools , high tables and a relaxed atmosphere . Unfortunately a little too relaxed as our order was mixed up and we had to wait quite awhile. However the waitress was very polite , effusively polite. We were given complimentary hot and cold drinks on the house and the food was worth waiting for . Asian Salmon with mago salad and Chicken & proscutio ham sandwich with a side salad. I would go back as the price was the same as some faster food chains. Good atmosphere, a sitting area with a great faux fire and a huge TV screen nearby . Views of the...
