Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Calgary

This really is a great location! Only once we have had a bad delivery experience but I'm sure if that went well the pizzas would have been great. I'm extremely satisfied with my overall delivery experience however.

The pizza dough here is fantastic! The pizzas are constructed well and all the ingredients are spread evenly, even if they do go a tad light on the feta. If you have a toaster oven you can have a great quality pizza for days which is a plus!

The pizzas have become hit and miss and occasionally the delivery will sit in "quality check" for far too long leading to a low quality pizza, I think they waited for too long to maximize the amount of deliveries at once.

My most recent small pizza had a quarter of topping missing as you can see in the picture I have uploaded.

75% of the time the pizzas are good, it's a pitty because this Dominos can put out some great pizzas if they try.

This store is getting more useless as the weeks go on. A pizza should not take 15+ minutes to quality check, by the end of that time you just have a cold and soggy piece of cheesy dough... It's very disappointing that customer satisfaction is placed so low here.

I called and complained after the pizza was waiting around for 30 minutes and they told me that they would recook the pizzas, however after finally receiving my order EVERYTHING was cold, the cheese was hard and even the lava cakes were disappointing. I called to complain again and half way through a conversation with a man I start talking to a lady with no notice or explanation. I then have to explain myself again but it seemed like the lady wasn't even listening because when I told her my order number she informed me that my order was already out for delivery..... We were in the AB Children's Hospital for our son's emergency surgery. It was a long night for us; we were very tired and hungry. As we were given an hour to wait until the procedure is done, we went out to look for food and thankfully this branch is open until 2:30am. We did not check the pizza in the box until we got back to the hospital. We were so disappointed to have toppings start at about 3 inches from the circumference, which left us only 2/3 of the pizza with the toppings. Husband said it should not look like this. We ordered a medium sized feast pizza (Donair one) worth almost $20. You could buy a special large pizza at Panago and Papa John's at this price full of toppings. Even with only 2/3 of the topping, they scrimped on the meat. The toppings are only meat and onions, no other vegetables and white sauce on top. We basically ate crust for $20! I wonder if they took some of the topping portion designated for this pizza so that they can have something to top their own pizza. If only they had told us that they don't have enough topping, we would have ordered other choices. It happened on August 17, 2016 at around 12midnight. Please take action on it. Tonight I purchased an order that we have ordered before. Exactly the same food but this time the special cheese bread, Philly steak came so greasy that the bread did not even rise and was so soggy it was inedible. When I called the store they only explained that they were now using oil in the pans as per Head office new cooking direction and did not accept liability or any responsibility for the bread and said thanks for calling. To be honest the other food purchased was good and we enjoyed. But customer beware don't buy the special stuffed bread all you will get is uncooked greasy dough So the store knows it was under my wifes name Patricia

As for an update to my post

I have been in touch with the manager of the store that reached out to me and has explained the new procedure and i was miss informed on the new way of doing the bread. They now add a garlic oil after cooking for flavor instead of adding the bread shake like before. In this case there was just too much added that caused the saugy bread. I guess it was just a big mistake. They offered me a rebate of the cost of the stuffed bread and a free pizza for the mistake. I have to thank the store for addressing this in such a professional and a timely manner.
