I had stopped going to this edo a while ago because the customer service was hit or miss. I recently started going back because I work right across the street and within walking distance if I didn't pack a lunch. Today I was reminded of why I stopped going. I always get the same thing a kids meal chicken with half noodle half rice, so when I went up to the till already knew what I wanted. I tell the boy working my order and he just kind of looks at me and says no, I was confused and asked what the problem was and he just said I can pick rice or noodle but hes not going to do both. I was kinda confused and said that I had ordered it on Tuesday without a problem and I know its an upcharge but I couldn't order it tonight? ( side note of I could see the person who had taken my order perversely in the back) He just repeated that I had to pick so I just said rice not wanting to argue. I asked if I could upgrade the juice box to an ice tea and again was told I had to pick. at this point I'm a little annoyed but whatever. I wanted to order smoked salmon, just the salmon on the rice that comes in 2 pc so I ask for it and he asks me how many pc so I clarify that I want just the salmon and rice and not the roll and he asked how many again 4 or 8 so I just say 4. I go and wait for my order and when its called she says its salmon rolls (more expensive ) and I say I wanted the smoked salmon. she says it was put through as a roll and I could wait in line to get a refund and pay the proper price and I just say its fine and leave. Read moreI pre-ordered food from Edo, for our office a day ahead, through Skip The Dishes. We were celebrating 3 birthdays this month and we had a total of 16 orders. Unfortunately, they missed one order, which was the very first order I had selected for my coworker. It was for her birthday. So I called and let them know we were missing an order. She was apologetic, however, the solution that was offered was to call Skip The Dishes to get my money back, as it was ordered through a 3rd party. I did not want my money back as we were celebrating together and my coworker did not bring a lunch. Then I asked if they could have it delivered to our office. She said that they did not offer delivery but I could order through Skip The Dishes again. That was not a very good solution. Then she said they could have the order ready for pickup. We basically had no choice. The Birthday girl ended up picking up her own food. What a mess! I let the employee know that I was very unhappy with the service.
They ended up giving her 3 extra tempura shrimp for the trouble. But unfortunately, she had to eat after everyone was already done.

I got the sukiyaki been with the big noodles, no veggie no mushrooms , and some how every time there’s little bits of veggies.. do they not clean the grill enough?? I get it not being perfect but what if someone had an allergy.. plus my boyfriend got the chicken teriyaki bento box. Everything was good until he bit into it.. it smelt like mold and the chicken tasted like mold. I didn’t believe him so I tried it.. yup mold. Couldn’t see any but it tasted like what rotten food or old food smells like. Didn’t even taste like chicken. We got it after I was done work so 9:30-9:45 so when we got home they were obviously closed.. this was my favourite place to eat, always so quick, servers are pretty much always nice, and quick food. I’ve gotten the same thing every time since it was always amazing other then the odd piece of veggie, I don’t know what happened but that was disgusting.
