Edo Japan — Restaurant in Calgary

First time ordering here and I was not pleased. I've been to others where the employees are nicer and actually pay attention to your order.

Tonight, I placed an order for pick up. I got home and realised that my order had been mixed up and some items omitted. I called to let them know and the lady I spoke to sounded like I was bothering her. She asked me what I wanted them to do about it and I barely even apologised. I had to go back to replace my order.

Before driving away, I decided to check to make sure nothing was missing this time and to my surprise, my spicy teriyaki was missing. I had to go in a third time to get the spicy teriyaki and the lady at the counter gave me tiny bowls of spicy teriyaki (way less than what I requested in my order ) in such a dismissive manner.

Terrible customer service. I understand they've probably had a long day but they really should do better.

To their credit though, I was offered two spring rolls and a coupon...

Its the 4th time they have done this to me. Weve ordered through Skip the Dishes, we got ourselves with 3 Teriyaki Chicken and on Skip theres an option how many scoops of Teriyaki Sauce. I had been always selecting 3 scoops per meal but, the order always comes out only 1 scoop of teriyaki sauce per meal which doesnt make sense, since Skip gives an option how many scoops of sauce when you order but when we get our food we always get 1 scoop of sauce per meal. I always have to drive to the restaurant to complain about this everytime they do this to me. What is the use ordering food through Skip if I always have to drive to the restaurant to complain about the scoop of the teriyaki sauce everytime I order food from them. I did an online order on there website, around 9pm. When I went to look up the address to send my friend it, it showed the hours and closes 9pm. I called and no answer, so she never went. I get a call closer to 10pm the guy says my order wasn't picked up I explained him that online it says closed 9pm so I never bothered to go, why would I go if it says closed ? He was very rude, not willing to replace my meal the next day due to there own fault, with business hours posted. Called the next day no answer no call back. Anyways called my credit card company, received a full refund.🙌 If they would have replaced my order I wouldn't be writing this. 😮 Oh they changed the hours online the next day 😅
