I have been a loyal customer of this location for a long time now and I have even given good google reviews previously as the staff have always been friendly. But today, it was a humiliating experience for me with this new staff, I ordered 3 drinks and obviously didnât have any bag with me. I told him/them i needed a bag as i canât carry 3 drinks obviously. But he told me they charge bags now. And i totally understand that. I told him i donât have any coins and if they would allow to charge a card for $0.30. He said no. So i told them if they can just refund the drink payments and add the bag fee to my total. He said he will just give me the bag but next time it will be charged. And i already felt bad for that tbh, but i also told him if he was able to add points to my loyalty number card and he said i could either have a free bag or the points. But i know the points i could earn for the purchase doesnât equivalent to just 30 cents. I dunno i just felt offended with the staffâs attitude and the way he said it. I think it could have been said more nicely. Like I ainât trying to get a free bag and if he informed me before paying that if i need a bag cause obviously i canât carry 3 drinks and that I donât have a big bag to put the drinks, i am more than willing to pay for it. But the points compensation doesnât sit well right with me and that he said at the end that he did add the points but I donât believe him so. I guess i would see when i claim my drink for the last time as i know my previous points is 526, let me jut claim my free drink and I ainât going back at the location ever again. I wanted bubble tea to lift up my mood and have a happy drink but it just gotten worse after that...
Read moreI have been a loyal fan of Kungfu Tea since 2020, regularly visiting the Huntington location at least once a week (often placing orders of five or more drinks). The quality and consistency of the drinks have always impressed me, which is why I have continued to support the brand for so long.
Recently, I started going to the Skyview location due to its convenience. On my latest visit, I brought a few kids who were trying boba for the first time. Since they were not familiar with some toppings, like agar bubble, I asked the cashier if it was possible to offer a small sample for just this 1 type of topping. I even offered to pay for the sample, explaining that it would help avoid ordering something the kids might not enjoy.
The cashier simply said, âNo, we donât do that here.â When I asked why, she replied, âManagement doesnât allow it, and I donât know how to measure the topping.â I gently suggested using the same scoop used to make drinks, surely that would suffice for a sample, but it was clear she wasnât interested in exploring a solution.
As someone who has consistently supported Kungfu Tea and introduced many others to it, this felt disappointing. Offering a sample, especially when a customer is willing to pay, seems like a basic and thoughtful customer service gesture.
Unfortunately, this experience left a sour impression, and I will not be returning to this particular location. I will continue to support the brand where the service matches the quality of the drinks, but I would not recommend this Skyview branch based on how this situation...
Read moreWe have been twice since they opened (yesterday and today) Fist time, my wife got the Passion Fruit QQ and I got the Taro Tea. The second time she again got the passion fruit QQ and i got the Passion fruit and Basil seed drink...This is our first time every trying them, the agar at the bottom is warm and needs to be stirred in, and the texture was odd at first. But they are really tasty and will definitely be going back. We live in skyview and this may be come an addition for us. It was funny because the second time i was just picking up to go and she kept saying to try them and if i didnt like she would remake.. but I was sure i would like and didnt want to puncture them before...
