Flames Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Calgary

Flames Pizza & Wings is definitely somewhere to check out. We order pizza for the second time, this time they were thankfully open of Christmas Day. We ordered 3 medium pizzas, wings, and six cans of pop by phone and the time was only 25 minutes. When I walked in I can assume I was greeted by a friendly older couple that I assume is a husband and wife. They packed everything up nicely and were friendly as I left. The price is pretty reasonable for what we were getting. The pizzas were hot and tasty with a lot of toppings, the amount of wings is insane(so many!) and they’re all sauced up. I think the wings might be one of the best.

Staying in town for a few days visiting family and wanted to order something easy to bring back to our hotel. Searched for pizza and this place popped up with good reviews. Ordered the super combo #2 medium 3 toppings, 16 wings and 3 pops. Got double pepperoni and bacon and it was absolutely loaded with toppings, probably the most toppings I’ve ever gotten on a pizza. Wings were really good and tender, some of the better pizza place wings I’ve had and even comparable to a good pub style wing. All for $26. What a deal! It was ready in 15 mins and piping hot. The best donair I've ever had. These things are cheap and HUGE. A great meal (or two) and very well made. The cheese is super stringy and flavourful, the meat is really well spiced and NOT dry at all, and after putting everything together in a giant pita with the delicious sweet sauce, it's put into an oven so the cheese can melt, and the pita crisps up really nicely. The man working there is incredibly friendly, and even offered my husband and I free sodas to go with our meal because it took 5 minutes longer than he said it would. Really excellent service here!
