While the food and the coffee are quite tasty, the customer service is hit and miss.
I've usually had great service at this location. They normally greet when you enter the door, make sure your order is correct, and provide suggestions if something is sold out.
Today was a bit different though. Seems like the front counter staff are more engaged with their phone, instead of a customer popping in. Part of my order was missed, and the rep was right back to her phone once the transaction was complete. It doesn't really give a vibe that you're welcomed.

We asked if we could open it to get a couple salads. The young girl said, “No, I’ve already done inventory. That is closed.” She was rude, and unhelpful. She didn’t apologize or offer any kind of solution. We were shocked and appalled. We have been supporting Fresh Kitchen since it opened, even when stock was low, we tried new items. Read moreNestled between Village Ice Cream and Cobbs, Fresh Kitchen is the place to go for prepared foods that aren't full of salt and heavily processed. Real food. Real seasoning. Almost everything freezes well and I recommend it to anyone looking to gift meals to someone whether it is an overwhelmed parent or new parent.
I think my only suggestion is that random items can be spicy (hot) or peppery enough my kids complain about it being spicy so you do have to read the ingredients in store.
Grab a few meals, salads and bread next door and you're set for at least a couple...
