Quaint, authentic and tasty! We were out for a "date escape" and in the mood for something interesting, someplace our lovely but picky children would not let us go. This really fit the bill! The menu is set up interestingly between rice dishes, Pad Thais, soups and specials. The rice dishes have numerous curry options, like the traditional red, yellow and green, but also others like brown, ginger and cashews. Between us, we had a brown curry lunch special (just to be different) with coconut rice and the coconut soup with shrimp and the coconut ice cream (I sense a theme!) It was all fantastic! The brown curry was almost gravy like with peanuts, onions and potatoes. The coconut rice was really nice: a little more complex than the varieties that either just cook it in coconut milk or add shredded. The coconut soup had a surprising zip to it with some strong notes of lemongrass and the coconut ice cream was a perfect finisher. There's a lot more to try there. We'll be back. 😊👌

Cute place. That’s the first thing I said when I walked in. I love how this place is perched a little up from the sidewalk and is on the corner of the building. It has a cool little local vibe. We got there pretty early for dinner. Parking was a little painful as there is a lot of road work going on in the area. Menu was extensive and authentic. The papaya salad was perfect, pineapple fried rice was unique, we got fried tofu with a peanut/satay dipping sauce which was yummy, we got pork larb which you gotta try if you haven’t already! Also the Thai red curry and we fished with a deep fried banana. It was a lot of food! Too much actually, but we were happy to have left overs the next day. This is a great place to have authentic Thai food at fair prices and in a cute atmosphere. Perfect with a few friends or even a first date!

Unfortunately, I haven’t had the pleasure of dining in yet. But the take out ordering was very easy to use, and the staff was extremely friendly during pick up. The food was delicious and tasted fresh. It was not over salted/seasoned like I find most Thai restaurants here in Calgary. I love that they truly mean “mild” when they give you an option for spiciness. There are also a lot of protein options per dish. I’d love to try their lunch options as it appears to be a bit cheaper. I am giving it four stars because the portions are on the smaller end considering the premium you pay per dish. Pictured below from top to bottom and left to righ is: tom yum soup (large), drunken noodles, coconut rice, pineapple fried rice, papaya salad and yellow curry.

Not great. I was trying to find something quick and stopped in. I was not greeted very nicely, more like I was a nuissance and there was nobody else in the restaurant. When I asked about the soup the server was very short with her answers. I asked if it was a regular soup and she said yes so I didn't know it'd be so spicy. It came and though it was much smaller than expected I started to eat it but to their credit they'd made it piping hot not only, great for burning the taste buds off so you don't taste how sour it is. But it was also spicy as all hell so I couldn't eat it. When the server came back to check on me I commented that it was EXTREMELY hot and she just agreed it was and walked away like she didn't care. I went up to her then and said it was not something I could eat. She started to tell me that it is my fault for not telling her I don't want spicy food (the attempt was there with the questions about the soup, she was just brisk to reply with an incorrect answer) she was annoyed I became annoyed end of story, not a great experience. Maybe it was just an off...

The food was delicious but I had an issue with how the server communicated with me. I am already usually conscious about coming across as high maintenance because of my allergies and food intolerance. After having served an incorrect dish I told the man who gave it to us that I’m allergic to shrimp and ordered a different meat. So he told me I couldn’t eat the second item I ordered because it has shrimp paste. He took it back and got me one without shrimp paste. All was good after that until the server asked “Why didn’t you tell me you are allergic to shrimp?”. I was tired and didn’t think much of it but she kept going about how they had to waste the food. My friends took note and I was taken aback by how rude the choice of words were and how she was slightly disrespectful. It felt like I was being nagged. She also kept saying “it’s okay” as if I severely wronged the establishment. It was a very...
