Pacific Poke — Restaurant in Calgary

Well, it wasn't that good. It seemed like the employees were not aware of the menu and didn't know which sauce goes inside the chef menu bowl. It was our first time because they had a promo for all chef bowls for $10 each, but the original price of the bowls we ordered, The Main and The Keto, was $18 and $19, respectively. I got mine with brown rice, but the brown rice was so hard and undercooked. The white rice was okay for my husband's order. They didn't even ask if we had any food allergies before they started putting in the ingredients, and they weren't aware of which sauce pairs well with the bowl we ordered. One of the employees recommended spicy mayo when my husband already had wasabi mayo for the sauce. I don't eat cucumber, so I usually ask for no cucumber ahead of time, but unfortunately, it wasn't listed in the menu ingredients. I watched the employee putting ingredients in my order and then saw cucumber mixed in with white radish, so I asked them not to put that in. Then, one of my raw salmon pieces from the bowl ended up inside the radish and cucumber ingredients container, and I had to tell them so they could remove it.

The chairs were dirty, and the table wasn't clean, but it appeared that the new owner of the store was just watering the pots on the table with black food...

I'd love to give 5 stars as I love this place and order from it all the time. Everything is fresh and the portions are generous. My issue is that they are terrible with inventory management. They are always out of something, it's always a toss up whether you're actually going to get everything you ordered. They will often change ingredients in your order or leave things out without notifying you. They also will "close" the restaurant hours before it actually closes on delivery apps because they have run out of too many ingredients. I've been checking their availability on Skip every day for the last week waiting for an opportunity to order from them when they had all the ingredients I was hoping to get, and was finally able to order tonight, but then during preparation they updated my order to remove an ingredient and didn't substitute it with anything else. I wouldn't have ordered it tonight if I had known they were out of this ingredient and now I'm down $30 with a...

I have come to this location at least 5 times, I keep coming back because the bowls are delicious but I am always so disappointed by the customer service. The number of times I go in and the individuals are in the back, and you have to wait for someone to come out to help you (more than a few minutes), they are standing there and don't say hello and I am the first to address them, or they have headphones in one ear has occurred every time I've gone. I usually take the bowl to go, but sat to eat in yesterday and all of the tables were filthy covered in sauces and crumbs. As I sat there eating, I watched the next two customers come in and also have the same experience, standing at the counter for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to come out of the back to help them.
