I order pizza here religiously (at least once a week), usually get the pepperoni special, but more recently we've noticed the pizza quality consistency and amount of cheese has reduced. So to compensate I pay to add extra cheese. This has never been a problem for a very long time, until yesterday Jan 22 430pm the older women working the counter (who I've never seen before) said she could not give me the special's price because I added extra cheese which makes it a 2 topper and about twice as much money. She said I could speak to the owner about it if I didn't like it because that's how it's always been ( I guess just not any time I've ordered there over the past 4 years), so I did. Though the owner didn't seem to understand what I was saying and stood there with a blank look on her face, and just did not respond to me, even though I'm standing directly in front of her talking to her (language barrier). Instead she goes behind the counter and speaks to the lady and they adjust the price to what I've always paid. Not a single word was said to me by either the owner or the counter lady.
The pizza here used to be phenomenal, and at a decent price. But the price has continuously risen, which I understand given the times were in, but the reduced quality and rude staff are unacceptable.
It's no surprise why this place is always dead now. I will never order from here again so long as that lady is working or they sort out their pricing...
Read moreI have been going to Hannis for over a decade. Use to be a fan of their service until I moved 10 minutes away in a different district across Glenmore trail next to Chinook Mall. When I went to order online the restaurant is associated with Dashdoor.ca and gives the option to check if they order in your neighborhood. I typed in my new address and the website said they did. I called Hannis to double check (nothing worse then placing an order and then having to get a refund). The rude lady on the phone thought she placed me on hold and was speaking to the delivery guy who by the way I overheard the whole conversation. said he didn't feel like driving so to just say no. I'd also Like to add this is at a reasonable time of 5 in the afternoon. I could understand if this was after hours or a few minutes before closing shop. When she came back on the phone she asked me a few questions and than made a lame excuse that the delivery guy doesn't go into the SE district. When I explain to her the affiliate website said otherwise she played dumb and said: oh, that's nice.
Dear Hannis Owners: If you want service you can't be picky on where you deliver- i'm less than 20 minutes away. Perhaps you should hire a new delivery guy while your at it. What a shame you just lost a regular customer, so...
Read moreEXTREMELY disappointed. We have been regular customers at Hanni's for years now. Placed an order for delivery and was told 40 minutes. I call an hour later and the girl on the phone tells me it's with the driver and should be there soon. No apologies, just that she would check with the driver (doesn't even tell me she will call back). Then i call again 15 minutes later (now an hour 15 minute late) and the girl apologizes and says she'll check and that it JUST left with the driver and says he got stuck somewhere. Then i speak to someone else who tells me that they know that we're regular customers but it sometimes takes 45min-1 hour to get us our food and she's sure we, as customers can appreciate that. Meanwhile, the pizza arrives lukewarm, and i'm offered no compensation. Instead of her offering something, she asks ME what i expect after going back and forth on the phone. I will never order here again. Worst customer service i've experienced from the food...
