Haveli Sweets & Restaurant — Restaurant in Calgary

Went there to buy sweets, but totally got disappointed to go there. I asked lady to taste the sweet and she said ok; as I was tasting it, the owner came from inside and told me to taste only one.They didn't put sign saying which is which sweet? Now, how would I know what the other sweet tastes like. I asked the lady is it fresh, she says no they made it 2-3 days ago. Now let's say even if I bought the sweet without tasting and it turns out stale, then are they gonna take it back? No. Every time I ask either of them, they answers like they're not interested in selling the sweets. Never going back there anymore. Owner has small heart and doesn't want you to taste how the other sweets taste like. Rather go to lovely sweets as they have variety of sweets and friendly staff then this egoistic people. And lovely sweets is only 10min drive from this place.

EDIT: Thank you for your reply and as per "sampling" part please check your cameras. I was taking small piece of each sweet. If I were to "all you can eat like buffet" then I won't have problem to eat whole sweet each time. I want to buy as 20Lb for my team so tasting is important than buying out without "tasting it" but i want to say thank you because it turned out that lovely sweets(10 min away from your shop) they made it fresh and let me taste...

I ordered from this restaurant through Doordash and let me tell you the food was not worth it! It was not fresh, was thrown together like sending food to someone in jail! Their Halwa is not Authentic! It is NOT made with Pure Ghee ITS MADE WITH OIL.🤮🤢 YOU can taste the difference! I ordered salad and they put it in a plastic bag!!!!🥴😳 i was shocked . I am Indian and i know good food. I called the restaurant to tell them i was not happy with my food and asked why they put my salad in a plastic bag!!!! Their repose was because packaging cost Money!!!😲 i said thats the restaurants responsibility!!!! SO VERY UNPROFESHTIONAL and They were So rude and could careless. DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY...

This has got to be the worst Indian restaurant I've ever experienced in my life and let me tell you not only can I cook Indian foods, I've eaten Indian foods for a lifetime in more than one continent. The service simply sucks and the food is not only terrible it does not justify the cost. The service sucks and they do not even know the difference between hot water and boiled water. there was a hair in one of the dishes and when it was showed to the server he tried to convince me it was not from the kitchen. A tip was not given and I told them why. Sane your money and time, this restaurant is not worthy of any fraction of a star. Date visited...
