This restaurant is a really good food. It's Thai food and others It's all vegan. Food hardly recommended. You can sit down and dine and eat or you can take out. Or are you going to even order out with an app The restaurant itself is very nice and clean and peaceful stuff or excellent. Very helpful and beyond. Plus, if you want to get frozen foods where you can cook at home you can. They always have a great selection for you to buy and take home like a grocery store but only frozen. They always get the really cool things with our hard to find and if you have any questions about any of the food, they're more than happy to help you, even if it's in food who would not want to sit in an environment where it's very peaceful and relaxing. Well if you do go to this restaurant they have more than one restaurant. They have two of them. Plus they are at two different markets here and you can order food to eat there too. I haven't been to the newest market where they just started, but if they're just like the restaurant and the farmer's market then they're very helpful and kind stuff as always so if you're a vegan like me or want to go vegan and learn more, go to there. Get your groceries where it's healthy and good for you or just want to go out on a date, lunch or date dinner or just go with friends or even just family event dinner going through this restaurant. It's nice. Clean, quiet, helpful staff. What would you want more from them I like restaurants where they're polite and kind and be on helpful and a clean environment and that's all this restaurant. Even if you don't have time to stop in and eat, you can get it to go and get some frozen food too to go fresh desserts. Wonderful different types of drinks. You name it. They always have it so go enjoy a nice meal or groceries to take out or a nice date no matter what time it is or just a family dinner or just to hang out with friends and have a nice dinner or lunch or even by yourself. It's wonderful. Highly recommended in all their...
Read moreI never thought that I would frequent anywhere that was vegan. I am an avid meat eater, but after some reluctance I went in and Franklin at the front recommended I give the Khao Soi soup a try, and was just blown away. Franklin is always so kind and he remembered my name after only visiting a handful of times. I thought there would be very limited options at a vegan resataraunt, but these guys have a surprisingly wide array of selection from Chicken & and Waffles, to Poutine, Corn Dogs and Thai Food and Wraps and Burgers.. Just crazy.
One time I sat down with a friend and he explained to us that the owner travels the world and never books accommodations, just stays with the locals and cooks. He gave me a different perspective of the restaurant. Every Wednesday they give away free meals between 2:00 - 4:00, always switching up the meal. Definitely makes me want to support the place, and it explains why they have SO MANY good reviews.
So far, I've tried the Peanut Satay Bowl, the Pad Thai, the Cauliflower Wings, and the Khao Soi. I have friend that love the Pad Thai and I admit it's very tasty but I find it a bit rich for my taste. Personally I love the crispy cauliflower wings with Buffalo on the side. I've had really bad cauliflower wings at various places and these are easily the best I've ever had. The Khao Soi soup is a lovely creamy (curry?) soup, that's just a bit spicy. And the Satay Peanut Bowl has rice and this tasty veggie meat that boggles my mind, along with some vegetables.. The sauce reminds me of the creamy/spicy Khao Soi sauce (not soy sauce).
Overall 5 stars for the consistent customer service, generous nature of the business, and quality food that is much better for you than a lot other...
Read moreHearts Choices has been on my to-visit list since planning a holiday in 2021, and we just moved here so had to make a trip! Let's just say, it did far from disappoint.
Having seitan (or tempeh) on just one menu ítem is enough to have me coming back time and time again - we have to get our protein from somewhere?!?! right?!? 💪
So the fact that I had to choose between MULTIPLE seitan options in MULTIPLE forms was like finding the end of a rainbow 🌈
Not to mention that I had to decide between Asian dish deliciousness, power bowls, and gloriously loaded wraps and rolls - all of which, might I add have been recommended beyond belief. 🌟
Torture I tell you.
Some people just really want to watch the world turn vegan. 🔥
I went for the Ginger Chick'un wrap and can see why it's become a firm customer favourite - it was my 'eat the vegetable rainbow' motto in a meal, plus all the goodies vegans dream about like houmous, garlic tahini, and that oh so delectable sweet chilli peanut dip 🤤 🌯
And it's so refreshing to eat out and feel full.
Turns out $17 (£9-10) can get you a colossal veg-packed power lunch in Calgary, or half a side of iceberg lettuce in London.
I know where I'd rather be. 💁🏼♀️
On the way to my heart's choices,...
