We LOVE Sleep Rover and would not trust anyone else to care for our girl.
We’ve been taking our Teifi to Sleep Rover since she was 7 months old. We tried another daycare prior to finding SR and the difference in her behaviour was drastically different at Sleep Rover.
The team has known us as Teifi’s parents from the first week we’ve been with them. I have no idea how they manage to know every dog and every parent but they do!!
Joyce and her amazing team are Teifi’s favourite people in the whole wide world - she is always so happy to see them especially on a Monday morning!
This team is truly passionate, caring and are super knowledgeable about all breeds. They are always learning the latest trends in the industry and strive to incorporate those learnings to the facility.
Our Favourite Things About Sleep Rover:

Amazing hours for daycare 6am-9pm The facility is staffed 24/7 We love the daily report cards We love watching Instagram stories We love the hundreds of photos posted on the Facebook page everyday They offer birthday parties The special events - Valentine’s Day, Easter, Sports Day photo shoots We can have Teifi groomed during a regular daycare day We can buy our food when we pick up from daycare - it saves us SO much time! SR prices are competitive (often better) than anywhere else we’ve shopped The boutique is fabulous!! We always find the greatest toys and accessories! They have a pool
This facility and team are truly amazing! Knowing Teifi is in good hands when we aren’t with her is a huge stress relief for us. We are so grateful that we’ve found Sleep Rover.

Read moreThis 5 star rating (I'd give 6 if possible) and review has long been overdue. I am so grateful a place like Sleeprover exists. The place does not feel cold and uninviting as some other doggie daycares do (which has left me feeling uneasy leaving my dog there). Sleeprover is a pleasant place to bring your dog with a warm, welcoming and understanding staff on deck.
I moved to Calgary from Toronto a year ago, and one of my major concerns was with my puggle Mr. Darcy and where he'd go when I had to be away on trips. Sleeprover has taken excellent care of him, and he loves it there. He's always excited to go, and I can tell by all the pictures posted on Facebook (daily!) that he has a grand ol' time with his furry friends. I also appreciate the personalized daily report cards that are emailed to me after Darcy stays a day at Sleeprover.
The green space out back is awesome for their play time. When he stays overnight, he's free to roam, and able to lounge and sleep on a couch, instead of being kenneled (although this is an option should you prefer). There's a real comfort I get as an owner that comes with leaving Darcy there. I know he enjoys it, and I strongly feel that everyone at Sleeprover truly values the importance of maintaining the well-being of all the dogs under their care. When you're unable to look after your pup, you want peace of mind that he or she is being well taken care of - Sleeprover definitely does the job!
(Just be sure to book well in advance during high holiday season as I think the space is limited to 100 dogs and the spots fill up quickly!)
Thanks Sleeprover...
Read moreCAUTIONARY TALE! I waited 2 weeks to post this review so that I could be objective.
If I could give zero stars to SR I would because this is NOT the place to have a large breed, double-coated dog groomed, regardless of assurances that they're very experienced. And at $140/session, it was shocking and upsetting to see how our dog was poorly groomed! (we took photos.)
When we enquired why this kept happening, the owner (Joyce) stated that the groomers were overbooked, and that they're human and mistakes happen. So, poor grooming repeatedly happening over a year is considered acceptable??! Logic and integrity would state, book LESS dogs per day to ensure that the quality of grooming is unaffected based on each dog's individual needs, NOT continue the practice of overbooking staff and ignore client concerns.
Rather than seeking to resolve ongoing issues and find common ground with a client, Joyce chose to dismiss our business and then accuse us of inappropriate interactions with staff (never happened). She clearly does not care about the value of your business, not to mention the health & wellbeing of your dog or good customer service. We are greatly disappointed in the poor quality of grooming services we've received, as well as the owner's unprofessional and disrespectful response towards us.
In hindsight, it's clear to us that Joyce is only interested in the money. With all this said, we could not in good faith let others experience such disappointing and costly services without speaking out, thus the reason I posted...
