Arrived when there was only 1 other table of customers with 2 people outside of lunch or dinner rush; however for some reason most of the tables were empty but had dishes on them.

Server was prompt with drink and food orders, but our food took a while to arrive. We overheard the table before us complaining that how our orders arrived and they were still waiting on the appy they ordered more than 30min prior. Our appy (spicy wontons) ended up arriving well after our main meal. We ordered the beef noodle and the beef, tripe and tendon noodles. The portions were quite small for the price, and both the soup and meat was really bland as some other reviews had mentioned. The noodles were cooked well, but definitely not homemade. I personally really disliked how they leave the pieces of meat as whole, and not cut into pieces as I had a hard time biting through the meat that was still hard especially the tendon. On top of that, I felt like the whole piece of chewy tendon was slightly unappetizing… Lastly, even though it states the noodles were supposed to be spicy, but it was not. We were given a plate of chilli oil/paste, while it it delivered on providing spice, the texture was strangely gritty and tasteless compared to other chilli oil you get in other restaurants. I don't like saying this, but the T&T noodle bar is much better in terms of both value and taste.

They have an appealing drink and dessert menu, but based on my experience with the noodles I most likely...

I used to like this restaurant so much and was recommended to my friends, but the experience I had last night with my family was a disaster. We had been waiting for the food for at least 30 minutes.

We have been ignored for couples times when we were trying to get our order. the waiter kept washing dishes at the drink station and not taking our order even though we had made eye contact with her. We ordered a unagi don, a tomato beef noodle, 2 bowls of rice, chicken negguts, fried chicken, and a bubble tea.

Foods taste good, but we waited for at least 30 mins just for the chicken negguts. We pretty sure they gave our order to other table because we ordered almost the same time as the other 3 tables but only our table didn't get the chcken negguts, and we all saw how the other customers got shock when two of them got two chicken negguts.

When we were asked nicely the waiter about the order but she blowed us off. When we finally got our food, we didn't get a aplologized for the wait, and the waiter not being nice to us. I was so disappointed by the experience I had last night because the waiter they had before was really friendly, nice, and apologized when the same situation happened. If you are not mind to wait for a long time, I will still recommend you to visit for the foods, but I don't think I will recommend to my friends anymore and this restaurant is removed from my...

This is the second Taiwanese restaurant I tried in a month. It seems Taiwanese restaurant is becoming more popular in Calgary, that is a good news. Unlike the other ethnic restaurants, I found that of the 4 Taiwanese restaurants that I know in Calgary, each has its uniqueness and strength. Lambo won me over in terms of its variety in food menu items, the atmosphere and the cleanliness. The food menu items include noodle, rice, snacks, dumplings and of course various sweet tea. The Lambo bun, which the waitress recommended,, is a must try. The beef noodle I ordered was half meat half tendon. The tendon can be prepared two ways, a crunchy/chewy way or really soft way. Lambo prepares the tendon the soft way, not exactly the way I prefer. The beef soup was good, but can be made better. Xialongbao was all right but not extraordinary. In summary the food was all right. What I like most about this place was the friendly servers, the atmosphere and the cleanliness. The kitchen was open style, unlike most Chinese restaurants the kitchens are another world. The restroom was extremely clean and they have a large sink outside for hand washing. Sitting was comfortable and not cramped. Parking stalls were ample. I will definitely return to try out...

I am very into this restaurant at the hello. I have ordered beef noodle soup and some snacks and appetizers such as: deep fried squid or Takoyaki. They are so good, I love Taiwanese taste, they are care about their health so they never season too salty to the foods (I was learned that when I was travelling in Taiwan). +1 The price is acceptable (avg $12), in my opinion it is cheap compared with the quality. Cooking a beef broth and making fresh noodle take much time and effort. +1 Waiter/waitress are nice and helpful. Unfortunately, because of pandemic, they cut off labour so there was only one runner on the floor at the time. I felt so bad for them, they had to serve more than 6-7 tables as well as greeting and cashier. So if you are uncomfortable with service time, please understand for that. We have time to go for dinner, we have time to wait for food. + 1 I like the decoration too. It is very classical with Eastern style. Especially the washrooms are so clean and tidy. There is no bad smell at all. +1 Finally, the one I don't like that is parking lot, it is too small. Sometime, all slots are full so I have to go around to resident off street parking and walk to restaurant. -1.
