Lina's Italian Cucina — Restaurant in Calgary

This is the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had Calgary. Really? Yep. The food was absolutely next level and everyone in my group loved it. The service was incredible. So friendly without being fake or over the top - a very familial sort of vibe. And the music spoke to my gen x soul. When was the last time I heard Nick Cave in a restaurant? An actual restaurant that also had the best pasta I’ve literally ever eaten? Never. The smiths! Devo! Joy division! Granny and Grampa loved the food so much they didn’t notice the music, and my husband and I were practically rolling on the floor with joy. Our 9 year old devoured the Eaton mess… go. Go! Go. Go. Go. Also the food. Go! The pici with corn and prawn emulsion… seriously go and tell everyone you know. Or maybe don’t so we can keep it to ourselves....

Amazing food and amazing service!

This restaurant isn't your normal restaurant. It seems to be a pilot project that's only open on Fridays and Saturdays after the market closes (19:30). There's limited tables so definitely recommend making a reservation. The chef's the only one in the kitchen so it's quite impressive to see quality food being served to each of the tables within a reasonable amount of time.

Definitely a nice experience and probably one of the best service I have ever had from a restaurant. The food itself is scrumptious and presented beautifully. I can definitely see myself coming again with friends and family.

Top notch! An absolutely superb meal. Bravo, Lina's Italian Cucina! Interestingly, not only did the food win us over in a big way, the music we heard really surprised us - a lot of more underground, avant-garde pop / critically acclaimed post-punk stuff from yesteryear (that only the cool kids knew about - before the Internet!). Haha... On top of the excellent / personable service from staff and the chef (obviously a true artist) - it all multiplied into an unforgettable multi-sensory experience. Highly...
