So very impressed with our service and our food! We called days ahead of time to ask about allergens. They were incredibly helpful-gave a time to call when they wouldn’t be as busy, and when we called back they gave all the ingredients for the foods we asked about and were very friendly about it.
My Mom and Dad wanted to come to our place and have Easter brunch with the family, and they wanted delivery from Cora. They went above and beyond. They kindly went along with the written requests for putting the allergy safe food in a separate bag from the others and not cross contaminating that food.
All six of us had different orders and we were all very happy with our food.
We had
3 Crepes and meat (bacon) with tomato slices. Added custard. The bacon was crispy and perfect. The custard was delicious. Like a warm, soothing hug.
The club sandwich- heard it was amazing. It was huge and looked fresh. It was eaten entirely. Every last crumb.
The waffle and fruit. With custard. I’m told it was scrumptious.
The fruit crepe with fruit and extra custard. Came with sooooo much fruit! Fresh and delicious!
The crepe with cheese, eggs, bacon and sausage. The eggs were done perfectly and we had all wondered how sunny side up eggs would be with delivery, but they looked incredible and were just right, I’m told.
The burrito. This was a huge surpise hit. The person ordering it decided to be adventurous. It worked out well. The black beans were really tasty, and they really enjoyed the whole meal.
Thank you for giving us a yummy Easter Brunch and for following the allergy requests so carefully. You made our Easter get together a super happy one! Very impressed with what we got via delivery. So often things don’t hold up well when delivered. But everything was...
Read moreI went to Cora’s today for the first time in about 5-6 months and it’s unfortunate to say it they’ve gone downhill quite a bit :(
Their potatoes used to be pan fried, soft, delicious potatoes. Now they are potato chunks that are deep fried, covered in a layer of salt and grease. Their once healthy potato wedges are now just glorified french fries. Also when we asked if they would pan fry them instead they refused and said they will only serve them deep fried.
Their orange juice used to be freshly squeezed from actual oranges, still with pulp in it is no more. The orange juice is just now generic concentrate juice box quality juice packed with sugar.
The bacon was so thin I could literally see through it, I’m seriously not exaggerating, I wish I was…. Also the amount of grease dripping off of the bacon made me want to gag. I know bacon is generally greasy, but this was next level.
speaking of grease, the sausage grease nearly blinded me as it squirt nearly in my eye when cutting it
Prices have gone up and quantity has gone down, along with quality
We used to go to Cora’s because we loved how they used fresher ingredients and quality food products. Compared to Dennys or Humptys, Cora’s always stood out as a higher quality breakfast restaurant.
This however is no longer the case. They have started using much cheaper, lower quality food and ingredients. They have become more of a fast food breakfast place, comparable to a truck stop dinner. How...
Read moreYesterday when I was eating here, I asked if it was possible to replace the potato wedges that came with my meal with fruit- to which I was informed that the portion of fruit would be small and I would be charged an extra fee. I thought that she was referring to an add-on side, so I asked to keep the wedges and just pay for the extra side, which she said she couldn’t do and I had to replace the wedges. I was confused, because if the portion of fruit was small, I would assume that it would be because they were scaling it to match the cost of the wedges- but I was still paying an extra fee. When I asked about it, she went and got the manager without me ever asking her to do so, and the manager was very aggressive with me (presumably because they thought I was being pushy and rude, demanding to speak to the manager, which I didn’t do). The whole situation was very humiliating and I immediately dropped it because I wasn’t trying to get my way, I was just trying to understand why I was being charged more to eat less food. I likely won’t be coming here again, and I won’t be recommending it either- Cora is a nice restaurant, but a different...
