Located in the food court in Marlborough Mall, the first thing that grabs your attention is the friendly staff behind the counter tucked in the right corner of the food court. The meal was made to order and tasted fresh. The only downside was the disparity between items shown on the menu and the actual items. I’ve mostly been ordering from here but there is no place in Calgary with better value for African food. The rice is delicious, the chicken is delectable, the fried plantain is always sweet , don’t even get me started on the puff puff. The portions are generous and the food is affordable. Great food! I got the beef plate. I like the injera on the side. Not mixed inside with the beef. Forgive me if that's how it's made traditionally. It takes away the flavor of the sauce and beef. It's to soggy. Beef, veggies and spices should be separated. Or at least offered separately. Besides that the food is fantastic. So happy to see some authentic African Cuisine close...
