The Pho here is absolutely delicious!!!.. One of the best I've had in a loooong time. First I was skeptic, but walking in and smelling a strong Pho aroma, that's already a good start. Someone talked to me in Vietnamese asking me to be seat, another good start. When I was seated I noticed something different about this place... pickled jalapeno!!!.. What a bonus! This is rare here, not many Vietnamese restaurant do this, but common in the US and overseas.. I'm already excited! When the Phos came out, the wife had a regular special Pho, I had their Sate seafood Pho. Wife was even just amazed how good it was.. Broth was just well balanced, not too sweet like the southern Viet Pho, but enough to kill that sweet tooth. The Sate Pho.. on the light side, not the thick peanut taste, more OG lemongrass sate taste, and very well balanced. Service was excellent and super friendly staff.. Overall, this will land on our top 3 best pho restaurant in Calgary!!.. Love it!! UPDATE: We went back and tried their Bun Bo Hue... wow!! Out of this world!! Amazing broth more hint of lemon grass, well balance porky flavor... Bonus: came with banana blossoms!..

I had the great pleasure of being invited by a longtime Vietnamese Friend. I have been to many Vietnamese restaurants and they serve mostly the same food at similar prices, but this restaurant had some exceptional food! To start, the Shrimp Salad rolls here have AMPLE, FRESH BASIL in them that you can't help but notice! I appreciate that they automatically bring a pot of hot tea 🍵 to the table instead of the regular water. Then we had something I had never previously tried. I don't recall the real name but it is a type of lettuce wraps that you wrap in transparent rice paper, almost like tacos or Korean lettuce wraps. In these, you do put lettuce, basil, fish or other meat with noodles and then wrap them in the rice paper. It is a fun communal dish for the table. You even dip the rice paper into warm water to soften it. What a cool dish! Then the Wonton Soup 🍲 was excellent! They had plenty of wontons in the soup! The servers were very attentive and spoke good English.

Visited this establishment with a friend who had a craving for Vietnamese cuisine. Service was prompt and we were given a time estimate for when our meals would arrive. I liked that we (by we I mean she) were given an opportunity to look through the menu to decide if what she was craving was on the list before being seated. The location was clean with the background music being mellow and unintrusive. I liked the sitting arrangements there were options for small and larger parties of guest. I think it would be a great location to host meet-ups with family and friends. My selection tasted nice although I wished my server would have taken some time to respond to our questions about our choices. Rather than advice on the selections and help us find what worked best for us. Our server kept repeating our choice was completely up to us. For someone having Vietnamese for the first time, I was a little anxious about my choice.

I love this place. I've lived in Calgary & Vancouver and so far this is my favorite vietnamese place I've found anywhere. I come here all the time, it's my comfort food.

-The Vietnamese Noodle Bowl with Pork & Beef and is always good. (Pretty basic but never dissappints). -The Rare Beef Sate many times and always really delicious & deep flavor. (My favorite broth I've tried so far in Canada) its not too spicy. -The Beef Stew is amazing! Wish I would have tried it sooner to be honest as it's my new favorite. The Beef is super tender & broth is so comforting & savory. -The Pork Chop, Pork floss, Egg on Rice is really good. Sometimes it has been hit or miss when ordering during busy periods for take out! #70 Banh Hoi La Lot - SO GOOD! Really special to eat, delicious and amazing. Great to share with a few friends or your partner along side some other dishes in my opinion. -#57 Fried Chicken w/ Rice - a very generous portion of chicken, moist in the middle and crispy on the outside. Reminds me of Peking duck! Really way better than it looks on the menu.

The shakes are average! (Avocado and mango) Coffee is really good, really strong, prepare for an anxiety attack just they way they make it in veitnam :)

10/10...
