If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My visit to Sip A Tea today was nothing short of a disaster. The place was completely empty, yet the Indian guy working there couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge my existence. No greeting, no “hello” – nothing. He was too busy doing his own thing and didn’t even come to take my order until 10 minutes later. When he finally did approach me, his first word was a rude “yeah,” as if I was an inconvenience to him. No politeness, no manners.
After I paid, he walked away to wash dishes before even starting on my drink. And then, to top it off, he decided to finish washing all the dishes and do other tasks before handing me my drink. When he finally did give it to me, he didn’t even have the decency to say “here you go” – he just threw it in my direction. It was clear that he had zero respect for me as a customer.
This was hands down the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The guy working there couldn’t care less about the customers or doing his job properly. I won’t be coming back, and I’ll make sure everyone I know avoids...
Read moreThe flavours are pretty standard but they should be using evaporated milk in their milk tea because it’s pretty watery (like mixing milk and tea). I got the avocado milk tea and it was good, not much avocado flavour. The pearls in my drink were all stuck together which really detracted from the drinking experience it was impossible to get it through the straw and i needed to use my fingers to squeeze the straw to get it through. It wasnt just one tapioca either, it was most of the pearls were like that.
My fiancé got the brown sugar milk tea, flavour was good, really sweet but only issue is that the brown sugar was really warm so the drink was warm and cold. Same issue as my drink, pearls were stuck. The best part of this drink is the choice of milk types, they have alternative milks which was very nice (fiance got the oat milk)
They are still pretty new so there are gonna be some hurdles so ill try it again in the future when they've had time to flesh out some of this and rereview.
Points for milk substitutes and being convenient but that’s really all...
Read moreI am here to review since I really want to point out how unusual that Milk Tea does not have TEA! When I was about to leave this review, I saw the same complaint about the MilkTEA and the feedback from the business is unacceptable! How the shop defended itself was saying that the purpose of TEA adding to the drink is to reduce the use of milk, it is totally misunderstanding and misleading! The owner should not run a milkTEa business! if you understand what milktea is, tea can be an ingredient that cost more than milk and making real MIlKTEA with the TEA base requires skills and experience!
Additionally, if you are a real bubble tea / boba lover, you are strongly recommended don’t ever try this store, it is unnecessary, because the use of boba is not the regular type uses in most of other boba shop, I won’t deny someone might like this kind of boba but usually not, I bet.
Don’t get me wrong, just the products are unexpected but staff is...
