I've been living in this area for a year now and have never been into this place. So I went to give it a try. Of course I looked at the menu on the website before I went in. It says the breakfast is served til 4 PM.
The first time, it was around 3:30ish. I knew I had half an hour left to get some breakfast. I was kind of caught off guard by the fact they don't even give you the breakfast menu by default, even before the cut off time. Apparently you have to request it... I don't get that logic at all.
I also found it kind of sad that the cutlery set doesn't include a little spoon for hot chocolate/coffee/tea, I guess hot drinks are an acquired taste? So I had to ask for a little spoon to mix my hot chocolate into the whipped cream. But as for the actual food, it was good and seemed decent.
The 2nd time, I went in for dinner and got the bacon cheeseburger. Not exactly the best experience. I've worked in a restaurant before, so I can guess what went on behind closed doors. The gravy had the little congealed top layer of skin mixed inside, after giving it a slight stir. Yuck. To add insult to injury, it was flavorless. The lettuce on the burger is a weird lettuce, not conventional lettuce. It was very bushy, the edges were black and wilting. For an added bonus, there was a little dead, fruit fly on it. How cute? The burger patty itself was also flavorless. The fries seemed to have weird, triangular grooves at the top, like they might have been recycled from other people's left overs? Since half of the pieces were small, those weren't natural marks made from snapping when frozen. I wonder about that... My 4-berry milk shake had skin and seeds, but not much color. When I was about to leave, I wanted to take my milk shake to-go. They didn't have any matching cup and lids, so I just got a cup without the lid and that was pretty awkward...
Last time I went in was a couple days ago, I had lunch. I ordered the tomato and basil soup with garlic loaf, that was good and creamy. But I can see the bowl just had a wide rim to make it look bigger, the actual contents were not much more than a bird size meal. The chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce was good. This time, I got a soup container with a matching lid to-go, to pack the rest of my milkshake in. Since I already know they don't have matching cup and lids. So that was awkward, but at least it fit and I got to take it home.
So overall, I would rate my experience as average at best. It seems to be hit or miss. But not having matching lid and cups is...
Read moreExceptional Service from Liam!
I recently visited Ricky’s , and I have to say, Liam made my dining experience unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, Liam greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that immediately set a positive tone for the meal.
Liam’s attention to detail and professionalism stood out. He promptly seated us at a comfortable table and ensured we had everything we needed right away, including menus, water, and recommendations. His knowledge of the menu was impressive—he provided thoughtful suggestions based on our preferences, guiding us toward dishes we ended up loving.
What truly elevated the experience was Liam’s ability to balance efficiency with genuine care. Despite the restaurant being busy, he checked on us at just the right moments, ensuring our coffee was always full and that our food met expectations. His friendly yet unobtrusive demeanor made us feel valued as customers without ever being overbearing.
A small but meaningful moment was when my friend mentioned a dietary restriction. Liam immediately offered alternative options without hesitation, even confirming details with the kitchen to ensure everything was suitable. That level of attentiveness is rare and much appreciated.
The food was delicious, but Liam’s customer service was the highlight of the visit. It’s clear that he takes pride in his work and genuinely enjoys connecting with guests. He went above and beyond to make the experience special, and for that, I’ll definitely be returning—and recommending this spot to friends and family!
Thank you, Liam, for your outstanding service. You’re an asset to the team!

Read moreYuck.. The waitresses are ok. But please rickys, hire a new cook. We ordered, nachos, battered shrimp, Buffalo wings, and milkshakes. Not sure how it's possible, but the shake was warm! I'm no scientist, but pretty sure milkshakes consist of ice cream. Sooo there's that... Now, the shrimp tasted like it had expired a few, weeks ago, it was mushy and smelled really really bad. We then received our "buffalo wings" or lack there of, that were completely overcooked and had no sauce on them!! It literally looked like the cook accidentally spilled hot sauce on the plate, completely missing every single wing lol. Not sure how you can serve that garbage and think a customer would want to pay for that. We then we're waiting on nachos only to be told by the server that they burned the first batch so they had to remake another one. We decided to get up and leave hungry at this point. Very disappointing. Won't be a...
