Tonight, I came to this subway at 9 pm. When I entered, Gina, who works at the counter, was not friendly towards me. The first thing she asked was, "Are you buying a sandwich?" Not "hi" like she greeted the white people after me. I looked at her and said, "I’m buying a few sandwiches, 5 to be exact, 6-inch oven-roasted chicken sandwiches. Why ask me if I'm buying a sandwich? Did I come here to hang out?" I was telling her what I wanted on my sandwiches since they were for my children, and they are picky about what they want on their sandwiches. I feel like her approach to me was discriminatory because I'm black. When the white customers came after me, she was all friendly and kind to them, but with me, she was put off for no apparent reason. Like I'm a customer, and I wasn't rude at all. Read moreI can’t believe how rude the store was when I ordered online I accidentally pressed just turkey and when I went to pick it up they refused to Change my bread which I told her that I cannot eat this brown bread. The clerk had to call her manager who advised her that no they would not fix my sandwich they are too cheap to change a bread that cost probably $.25 to make? For a customer to be happy. I don’t understand why they don’t care about their customers that pay for their business? It was my first time using the online app. I did not know that it automatically comes with veggies and brown bread. it is disgraceful that they would not change it!
