I've eaten here a number of times over the years so when we had a chance to dine in again we did. I ordered the prime rib and my wife had the turkey dinner. Both listed on the menu as "Carriage House favourites".The prime rib was hard to cut and that was the sign that I had made a mistake ordering it. It was chewy and tough and lacked any flavour. To be honest, I have never had a prime rib as bad as this was. The Yorkshire pudding that came with it was dry and crunchy and the lack of gravy made eating it comparable to eating a dried dinner bun. I should have sent it all back and that was my mistake. My wife's turkey was actual carved turkey and not the pressed type but the dressing was a small square pressed together and lacking the texture and flavour one expects from quality dressing. It's not hard to make so this was done as a time saver and it is a flop. The veggies on both meals were still a bit hard and we both left most of them. Coffee shop, restaurant for Carriage House if review in wrong spot my apologies. Breakfast buffet Monday to Saturday until 10am I believe; you reasonably priced just over 10$ and includes juice/coffee/tea (but not fountain pop unfortunately). Good bacon and fresh fruit, the pastries are okay and (shhh, don't tell anyone) if you run through the toaster (turn up the conveyor a little if creeping along or will burn and cause signs to be placed about not running pastries/cookies etc through the toaster from my past experiences at all inclusive buffets) are now out of this world good. 4.5 out of 5, I really love bacon and unsupervised toasters that can run cookies, pastries, cinnamon rolls and things haven't thought of yet when I'm not on low carb diet, only negative was...

A highlight here is they bake their own pies, so it's not generic grocery store pie but real pie! The Blueberry pie was delicious and distinct tasting. Good diverse menu options. Dinner comes with a fresh baked bread roll with butter. Entrees tasted good, not gourmet or anything, but like a standard average to good meal.
