Vanellis — Restaurant in Calgary

Very garbage food. You will vomit if you eat here. That lady works at front don’t know how to take orders. Worst listening skill ever. I was asking for suggestions for my order and she confirmed already what she wanted to give me? She didn’t answer my question and start preparing order. I didn’t even know what she was making. I still let it go and agreed with what she was making. Later I asked her give me veggie pasta. She said yes it will be veggie pasta. She took the payment before she started to make my order. When my order was ready for pick up. There was no veggie in the pasta only tomato sauce and plain pasta. I asked where is veggie in pasta? She said there is no veggie this is the veggie pasta. And she started talking to another customer. I tried pasta. It was worst ever I have tried. That pasta should go directly into the gutter. She is not focusing on making satisfied customers. She is only focusing on money. She tried to do multi tasking. But she is not enough capable to do that. Instead go to next to them SUBWAY. Their customer service is far far better than this cheap garbage guys. all SUBWAY employee will listen to you and they knows English very well. They give you time while they make your order. They don’t run here and their like rats are running. Their sandwiches is also far better than this cheap vanellis guys. SUBWAY IS BETTER...

OK, so I just randomly went to this place I was super hungry after work and I was picking somebody up. I wasn’t even thinking about writing a review but my goodness the service that I got here was beyond top notch I was so surprised and it caught me off guard I was not expecting that. The dude working there gave me stuff for free without even asking he loaded me up with this amazing salad and hot sauce for my lasagna and he was so pleasant and well mannered. This kind of customer service was something I was not expecting. Honestly, I’m not gonna lie. The food was OK but the reason I will come back to this place again is because of the way they treated me. I was treated like royalty and I don’t even know these people and I just randomly showed up there and WOW WOW WOW!! Best bang for my buck but more than even that was just the level of respect I received here. Amazing service - people in the food industry should learn customer service from this place. Good service! Good food! Very respectful and polite people with good manners!! The lady was really nice and gave me a smile when taking orders. which is 5 star already!! Very nice and smiley people employees!! I suggest to try it here and the food were REALLY GOOD!! LOVE AND SUPPORT THEM GUYS!! They deserve a high praise!! Also if you see any 1 star on their google review. Those people are racist just because they are not really fluently and understanding english very much, those people who gave them 1 star was not raised right by their guardian in right manners.
