Edit: We order on Doordash all the time and still frequent very often! I stand by my review a year later 100%. I always get their salad rolls (satay beef), satay beef sub, and chicken spring rolls. Their vermicelli is still amazing! I tried their satay beef pho last time and liked it, but they still can't beat my pho place that I frequent. I stick to their beef since I don't tend to eat anything but breasts, so I'm no help aside from beef. If their lemon chicken vermicelli were breasts like other places we go to, I'd be here even more often. That's the only negative here, and that's not a negative for 99% of people.

Original review: I went here for the first time tonight, and wow, was I impressed! It's clean inside and you have a full view into their kitchen which is very clean! I got the satay beef vermicelli, and it was fabulous. I'm a bit odd and picky with my meat quality, and thankfully, they don't have stringy, fatty chewy beef that you find lots of places! I was impressed with the portion sizes after having a craving for vermicelli 3 times in a week! I've tried a few places in the area and won't go anywhere else now. I also ended up getting a pink passion tea before I headed out to eat my meal. This is a problem as it's very addicting, it's so good I wanted more! I am so impressed with this place and will be bac... a lot! I can't wait to try a sub...

We were hungry and excited to try out this place, we love pho. We went in about 40 minutes before closing and we placed an order immediately for take out. There were three women there. Unfortunately, they all had poker face and the server was rather rude. She rushed our food, heated our soup (we ordered pho) and rashly packed everything. We had left a tip when we paid before she started on our food and regretted I leaving tip after that. I was polite and smiling the whole time, trying to have a friendly conversation but the woman serving us was stone cold and had a scowl the whole time. I felt unwelcome the whole time. When we were leaving, we saw two Asian girls come in and immediately the server's demeanor changed and she was smiling and serving them politely. We are south Asian. We were nothing but smiling and polite. I felt terrible after and really upset I could hardly eat. We will never visit this place again especially because of how we were treated. We love Vietnamese food but won't get it from...

If I was in the mood for Vietnamese subs (banh mi) and wanted to spend under $10, Viet Spice Deli would be my go-to! Even if price wasn't a factor, I would still come here! We ordered literally one of every kind of sub, except for vegetarian, and we were pleasantly surprised!

Price aside, the assorted sub (my personal favorite) comes with generous helpings of pate and Vietnamese cold cuts which ticks all the right boxes. Whether it's the divine grilled pork that carries so much wonderful grill and char flavor to the sate chicken that boasts huge chunks of tender meat, you cannot go wrong here.

Ultimately, bread is what makes banh mi and their bread was fresh with perfect glass-like crispness to the crust. Toppings like the cucumber, pickled carrot and cilantro were fresh and in a perfect ratio with the meat and bread.

I don't know what I expected for only $9 a sub but what happened was I have a new favorite Vietnamese sub...

Solid new Vietnamese restaurant in the NW! This is a small Viet spot located in a panatella strip mall that recently opened, serving all your usual noodle soups, rice and vermicelli dishes, as well as Vietnamese subs! At least for pho, there's only one size available which keeps things simple but ups the price a bit in some cases. The broth is flavourful, with well cooked noodles and a decent serving of beef. The rice dishes are also great with tasty fish sauce and meat choices. I tried the signature Vietnamese tea drink with pearls which was nice too. The only downside were the pearls, which were stuck together and not up to the level of dedicated boba shops. The tea they serve here is fantastic though, with a nice aromatic smell and taste! Clean washroom as well, and super friendly staff. Parking is available outside in the plaza. Highly recommend this place!

Ordered from doordash as it had a 4.9 rating and they had gluten free as a selection option. We selected it and it came with spring roll. So I called as my husband is legitimately celiac. They said that there's NOTHING on the menu that's gluten free (which would make them the only Vietnam restaurant without gluten free in town) and they didn't know there was a gluten free selection on the app. Which, why would you not know that!?! But they did confirm that they can see it was gluten free on the order, in which case, why wouldn't you call us to clarify?! They wouldn't refund us but offered store credit?!? Which is stupid because why would we ever go to this place again if they don't have anything gluten free. Overall just a terrible experience.

Ordered the peanut satay noodle soup. It was ok. Lot of people recommended, so had to try. Guess everyone different on what they expect for peanut satay soup. I was hoping be a bit creamier. I wasn't a huge fan how the beef slices were prepared though. I think I need to try the special noodle soup to really give an appropriate review because the broth that the satay was added to tasted good on its' own. They didn't have A/C so when we went it was really hot inside. Suggest not soup on a hot day :p Service was really good.
