Viet To Go Subs — Restaurant in Calgary

The price for their subs is insanely low. Only $9 in 2023. Not 9.99, but 9.00. They could easily sell them for 12-14, but they choose not to, which is pretty awesome. They taste really good too, easily worth their full price.

Both times I've been (31 May 2023 + 24 August 2023), I've ordered a grilled pork sub and pineapple bubble tea with lychee jellies. Both were easily worth their price. Good tasting pork was used, not some cheap supermarket stuff. Real pineapple ingredients were used for the bubble tea as well, not syrup. I will absolutely be sure to try a different kind of sub next time.

The ONLY criticism I have is that they didn't ask if I wanted my food to stay or to go. Not a major deal though, since they defaulted to takeout. So just be sure to clarify if you're planning to stay, so that a plastic bag doesn't get wasted! Still a good experience regardless, so my true rating will be 4.7...

They are horrible subs I have ever had. Here are the reasons. The bread is cold and hard, not toasted completely. It is hard to bite. Not sure whether your toaster is working or need to through out. The beef is cold too, take out from refrigerator, not fresh at all For take out service, have to wait for 10 more minutes. The experience is really bad and should I refund, I don't know where these 5 stars coming from with good review. Please read carefully before you go there.

I have feedback on the quality of food, how do you serve the customer with cold beef and cold hard bread. which is not related with be patience or not. It took 10 minutes to finish order with not fresh, cold food. besides, there is no customer in front of me or in...

ALLERGIES NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY!

We ordered food from here and I had specifically put that I had a fish allergy. When the food arrived, my sub had writing saying "Allergy", but when I opened it, it smelt fishy. I called them and they CONFIRMED they did not put any fish sauce on it. I had a few bites and immediately felt my mouth get itchy. They called back a few minutes later and said they had made a mistake. By that time it was too late and I was having a full allergic reaction.

I had to call them after and ask for a refund and to this day (almost a year later) I have not received ANY refund even though they kept confirming they would refund. They are lucky that I was able to handle the reaction and it didn't go further. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Super unprofessional and obviously not food...
