Wendy's — Restaurant in Calgary

This review is based on my third visit for breakfast at this location.

The food has been very consistent, in a good way. The food is always fresh, with the breakfast potatoes being a highlight. The breakfast sandwiches themselves are good, and would highly recommend the croissant bun instead of the biscuit. The biscuit is too dry.

The service... that could use some improvement.

I really don't know why the dining area is closed for breakfast, but it is.

Now, the service is better than when Wendys first served breakfast, but still could use improving.

I have ordered through the mobile app the past few times. The first time they weren't able to find my order. The second time they had my order, but took a bit of time to prepare it. The third time, they had my order ready, but my name didn't show up on the order.

There are some kinks, but the experience is getting better...

Ordered 5 meals with baconator burger being plain (no ketchup, mustard or any other dressing). As anticipated, the plain burger was not plain and needed to be exchanged.

Recently, the burger buns at this location are dryer and more granular. Perhaps the buns are not turning over as quickly or the bun recepie has changed. Either way, the burger bun is not to expectation of a fast-burger place.

With on-going inaccurate order processing and seemingly decline in food quality, our second choice fast-burger joint (A&W) is quickly becoming our first-choice. A&W is much more consistent with food quality (no dry & granular burger buns) but a bit of a...
