Taste of Himalaya offers a culinary journey through the flavors of the Himalayan region. From the moment you step through the doors, you are greeted with warm hospitality and an ambiance that transports you to the majestic landscapes of Nepal, Tibet, and India.

The menu is a treasure trove of authentic dishes, each meticulously crafted to capture the essence of traditional Himalayan cuisine. Whether you're craving momos, thukpa, or tandoori specialties, every dish is a symphony of spices and textures that delight the senses. The use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients adds a contemporary twist while staying true to the restaurant's roots.

Standout dishes include the butter chicken, perfectly cooked in a rich and creamy sauce, and the lamb curry, bursting with aromatic spices. Vegetarian options are plentiful, with the paneer tikka and vegetable biryani offering a satisfying alternative for non-meat eaters.

The attentive staff adds to the overall experience, providing recommendations and ensuring that every need is met with a smile. The cozy yet elegant atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for both intimate dinners and gatherings with friends and family.

Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a curious foodie, Taste of Himalaya offers a culinary adventure that is not to be missed. Prepare to be transported to the foothills of the Himalayas...

After driving past this place multiple times, and convincing my partner to head into this restaurant, this was a wonderful introduction to Nepalese cuisine. It is clear that the owners work hard to maintain quality service, a comfortable atmosphere and amazing food. The food was so good that I forgot to take most of the photos for this review, not that I needed to since the striking taste is burned into my tongue. The only photo provided was of the Mango Rice Pudding…….. it was great.

My partner and I started off with the Onion Bhajia (crunchy and filling) and the Vegetable Samosas. Both were served with a delicious tamarind sauce! Then we both got the Nepali Khana with Lamb (served with Paneer cooked in a creamy tomato cashew broth, yellow lentil Dal, broad leaf mustard Rayo Saag, spiced pickle, naan bread and Chai!) It was a great variety of food with flavours that I have never had before, and I could barely finish it! For dessert, we both got the Mango Rice pudding, a sweet explosion of flavour!

The people behind this wonderful restaurant deserve all of the attention and praise. I will be thinking about this meal for a long time. You guys deserve all of the love!

And for the people who hesitate to come to this restaurant, you will never regret visiting this place. It will leave you feeling blissful and satiated,...

I had really high hopes for this place given the great reviews but I was left pretty underwhelmed. I'll start with the positive - the butter chicken is very good. The sauce is more bright red than it is orange and it's sweeter than traditional butter chicken which is preferable for me. The naan is more dense and thick than some other places but I really enjoyed it. Tasted very fresh and the texture was perfect. The Shahi Paneer was very watery and there was 7 chunks of paneer in the entire dish. The flavor was decent but the consistency and lack of paneer was disappointing. The Eggplant Bharta was extremely oily. It tasted ok but I don't favor the recipe they use here. Lastly the vegetable korma dish was very gritty. I've had this dish at numerous other restaurants where it's creamy, thick and brighter in color. This had a greyer look to it than the yellow (from the curry) than I'm used to. It wasn't bad but the flavour wasn't as appealing to me. The price for 4 entrées and 2 orders of naan was 71 dollars. Fair price point, just wish the food was better. Overall not bad but I wouldn't order from here again based...

It was our first time trying out Nepalese food and we weren’t disappointed. The scent was invigorating when you entered the place and if you’re into Indian food, you’re going to get the same spice experience. We had the chicken momo (dumplings), lamb sekuwa (lamb with spicy sauce) goes well with saffron rice or sesame naan. With a mango lassi (yoghurt drink), the intense spice heat subsided and was ready to fill with more. We also had the Taste of Himalayas non-vegetarian sampler and the samosas were jam packed with filling. Delicious and a tasty treat. I wanted to really try their dine in special but they don’t serve it on busy nights like weekends. I guess we’ll be back for more on a weekday. Fairly priced as we were stuffed for $60
