Chatime Bubble tea — Restaurant in Calgary

The atmosphere is quite good. They’ve got nice artwork on the walls, mostly Ghibli. The place is nice and bright and quite inviting. They even have a Nintendo for guests to play for free.

Docking off a star because the staff manning the store was alone the time we came in, and there were a few orders lined up for her. So I guess she was stressed? There was a lot of banging of stuff, deliberate or not I can only hazard a guess. But overall, it wasn’t a very good experience for us to hear things being banged around while our order was getting prepared..

It wasn’t also nice when we asked what the toppings were for the teas and was just told to read off of the menu. The toppings list were so small and off to the side that we couldn’t see it straight away. We could feel and see the staff’s impatience while she waited for us to confirm which topping we want. When asked to just tell us because we couldn’t find it, we were just pointed to the menu again.

Needless to say, it was not a pleasant experience. Too bad though, the place is nice and has a lot of potential. Hope the owners and managers will take feedback into...

I like the space - room to study, to play video games, board games. The people staffed just don’t really know what they’re doing yet.. after waiting 10 minutes, they didn’t start making my drink until I asked for a refund. This is after I decided against getting food when I asked how long it would take, stating I probably don’t have time for that so I’ll just get a drink.

No staff members really knew much about anything on the menu, they were out of stock of a lot of stuff. No oolong, cheap matcha. My experience a few weeks ago was good though with the roasted tea.

Give it a few more months and it’ll be one of the best places to get bubble tea if they put in the work to listen to their customers and properly train employees.

So it took like 15 minutes for my $9 drink because they “don’t do refunds”. I was the only customer in there. No delivery drivers coming in or out. I hope the location and franchise in general can succeed because it’s definitely...

I was so excited that a bubble tea shop was opening up near my place. But after a year of opening their products severely declined in quality. Their Jasmine green milk tea was my favorite but several times they did not put any sugar in it even though it said Normal. It was just like regular milk with pearls. I decided to give them another chance and same thing happened. Third time, I ordered another drink but they only put a small amount of pearls. Felt scammed. Not to mention, all three times we had to wait over 20 mins for our order. People who ordered after us were getting their orders but we weren’t. Today I went in again after over 4 months in hopes that they improved. But today they DID NOT HAVE BLACK PEARLS. Boba shop with no boba?? Never returning to this place. Rather give my money elsewhere, where they respect their customers and provide quality service...
