Let me clearly state reasons why this restaurant SUCKS:
My family and I waited way too long to receive our food! Not only did the server take forever to take the self menu slip (which I will go into in my third point), the food took a whole 25 minutes to arrive. Since there were barely any customers in the restaurant, I assumed that this long wait was because the cook was so talented that it took this long to create something delicious. How WRONG I was!! I also ordered take out for my 2 other kids from the very beginning. It was still not ready when I finished eating. Losing patience, I asked if they were done yet, and they asked me to wait longer...
As you can probably expect, I was terribly disappointed with how horrible my pho was. I have been to so many Vietnamese restaurants in my life, and I can say with 100% confidence that this is the WORST PHO I have EVER tasted in my entire life! Pho noodles are supposed to be chewy NOT soggy! Did the cook just decide to not serve the pho as soon as it was done or do they just not know how to cook noodles? I think I could make better pho closing my eyes.
Continuing what I was saying in my first point, the server took 15 minutes to take the self menu slip. This had already put me in a sour mood and will lead me to my next point.
As my family and I were waiting for the food that was taking its sweet time to be made, another family of customers had arrived. They were immediately seated and had their self menu slip completed and taken straight away without the dreadful wait that I had to endure. Not only did they receive speedy service, but their child was awarded with an entire dish of candy! I came to this restaurant with my husband and my son. My son is 4 years old and his appearance makes it quite obvious that he is a child. And yet, he received absolutely NOTHING! My son watched this and immediately felt how unfair the server's treatment was compared to his and the other family's baby. I was so upset that I stood up to the desk and grabbed candy myself. And it wasn't as if my child was hiding or something. He was literally right next to the new customers.
(Also, let me just point out that my family and I are not white. The family who came in after us were. I am not going to make assumptions that this restaurant was racist, but I just wanted to state this in case there is a case of racism here.)
Honestly, their service did not even deserve a tip and yet they make an obligatory 15% UNDESERVED TIP!!! The least they could do is meet the expectations of a 15% tip.
I will never go here ever again. If this was the only place with food in the entire world and the world was dying, I'd rather STARVE MYSELF! Don't go here if you have any sort of respect for yourself. You deserve...

First of all, my wife and I are not the type to complain and are pretty laid back, but:
We sat down, and a lady came to our table and left two menus and a piece of paper, didn't say anything and left. We then realized that we were to write down our order number on the paper to place our order. After deciding on our order, we waited at our table for 15 minutes, we assumed someone would come to take our order, nobody did. We were unsure if we were supposed to bring our order paper up to the front counter, so I went up to ask - apparently they had just forgot to come get our order.
We ordered vegie dumplings and spring rolls as starters, the waitress brought out our dumplings, put them in the middle of the table and left. We had no plates or cutlery to eat with. We assumed she was coming right back with our spring rolls and our plates and cutlery, but that never came. So we went to the front counter and got our own cutlery. We began to eat the dumplings, and found out they were pork, not veggie, that's fine, we said nothing. Then our soup came our, the waitress put the bowls down, and left. We had no spoons to eat our soup. By now we had learned this was a self-serve kind of place.... so without hesitation, we got up to get our own spoons from the front counter. We ate our soup, and when we were nearly done, we finally were able to flag down the waitress to ask for some water, and to ask about our spring rolls that never came. We finally got those, and finished our meals and left.. first time in my life I did not tip.
My wife actually hadn't finished her soup and took it home with us. That night she had a terrible stomach ache. The next day, I ate the left over soup, and I had a terrible stomach ache afterwards. We can't be sure it was the soup, but we can only assume.
The soup I had ordered was actually pretty good, but we will not bother going...
Read moreWe arrived around 5PM in a group of 4 with other group of customers waiting to be seated. There was a guy who stood in the door of the kitchen for 5 minutes, even though there was a doorbell/alarm to signal that people are coming in. When he saw that there was 7 people standing in the front, he was kind of surprised and does not know what to do so he called his colleague. The lady signaled and directed us to sit in the right side of the restaurant. We helped ourselves and chose a table. After 5-10 minutes, she gave us water, pen, and paper. I told her we were ready to order but did not take it after another 10 minutes. I understand that they were a little swamped since the phone is constantly ringing, and maybe there's not enough staff. WE WAITED FOR 1 HOUR for a food that was never even entered into their POS. We followed up in the counter, and she even told us, "Who took your order?" When there's only her that's obviously taking charge of the front of the house. Unbelievable! The same group that waited in the front door with us for sure experienced the same thing since only two tables on the right corner were served with food out of five/six that were occupied. It is just frustrating that she did not even bother to check on us and never made sure that the customers at the tables were taken care of. Not gonna be...
