Wendy's — Restaurant in Calgary

Will never be selecting this Wendy’s location again. Went through the drive-thru, and had to wait longer than usual. I ordered two of the garlic mushroom swiss burgers. Paid for my order and drove off to the side to eat it. Only to take a bite of completely cold food! Not warm at all. Cold! I was so disgusted as I wasn't sure if the food was even cooked and was worried about possible food poisoning. I understand that Wendy's is fast food but your food should never be cold! Nobody wants to pay for cold food! So, I drove back, went through the drive-thru again an told the person on the intercom I had been here a few minutes ago, that my food was completely cold and I wanted a full refund. You can keep your cold burgers The guy left me sitting in line for a few minutes - didn't say anything. So, I proceeded to drive to the window to speak to the guy at the window in person. When he opened the window, I repeated myself, gave him the cold burgers back and presented my receipt. His response..."this burger was made 30 minutes ago. So, the food would be cold". No apology. Nothing! He then proceeded to say that he ." So, I repeated myself, yet again, stating that I wanted my refund, that I am not paying for cold food. He then closed the window to go talk to whomever, Came back and issued the refund. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION, EVER! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS - I WOULD. We have been regular customers at this Wendy’s location for years, and the service has always been exceptional! The staff are consistently friendly and courteous, and many have worked here for a long time, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It’s always great to see familiar faces with each visit!

QUALITY FOOD EVERY TIME

One of our go-to menu items is the Junior Bacon Cheeseburger (JBC), which is made just right, with great quality we can rely on. Whether grabbing a quick meal or dining in, the food and service are consistently reliable.

We also love their French Fries and chilli, which are perfect for a quick and satisfying bite. Their salads and baked potatoes are also fresh and delicious, making for great alternatives if you prefer a lighter meal.

I just went through drive through and Alex assisted me. I ordered a Baconater. A la carte , meaning no bun, cheese or addons. Just the meat. He tried to remove all rhe items and decided to just bill be for the large patties and bacon independently, therfore not charging me for the bun and other ingredients! Incredible! They were so helpful. I'm so impressed I have paid full price at competing restaurants for half the order requested. Like this order. They even offered to lettuce wrap it which I declined. I will be eating here all the time. They promise 100 percent all beef no fillers or gluten and as I'm pure carnivore I'm super happy and relived to be able to eat on the go, affordable and even healthy.
