Wendy's — Restaurant in Calgary

11/01/2018 We received coupons in the mail, so we checked it out. Turns out that when you order and say "Regular" size, it turns out that means medium - and the coupon refers to a small size. But they'll gladly upsize it and not inform you of this fact. Three Dave's Single combos at regular price works out to almost $34.00. Crazy. So with coupons it's still over $20 for three meals, which isn't too bad, but still way too overpriced for what you actually get. The burgers turned out fine, but they messed up the drinks - and they manage to fill them 1/3 with ice, so your really getting a small soft drink which after 15 minutes tastes watered down because of all the ice. It's the cheap way to wring out profit out of people, but when I specifically asked for no ice, clearly they don't hear you. I'd avoid this location honestly - I like the food, which is why I keep trying it, but McDonald's is right beside it and it's saying a lot when I'd prefer to go...

The lady who approached us today was very very rude, we ordered at the kiosk so we don’t have to bother the crew and sat at the table and chairs while waiting. Then a VERY RUDE Lady just approached us and said Did you guys even ordered anything? You guys are just sitting here waiting. So I went to the counter thinking that our orders are ready but they haven’t even started it yet, then she said come back in a few minutes, without any apology whatsoever. After 10 minutes, I approached the counter, the people behind us are already finished eating and our orders are not done yet, I asked a guy did you guys even know what our order is? Then that’s the only time they started our orders, without any apology. AVOID USING THEIR KIOSKS FOR ORDERING COZ THEY DON’T KNOW HOW IT WORKS, just order at the counter and ask for a receipt. 0 for this location, not...

Going through drive through, I requested fresh fries. They gave me old soggy cold ones. I had to go through drive through a 2nd time and waste 15 minutes to return the soggy cold fries as they had the doors locked just after 9 pm and there was a line up. Thier explanation was "we thought you ordered "no salt" so sorry, then I got a dirty look from the lady filling orders as she had to make a fresh batch of fries. As for the rest of my order... my frosty was good, but the bacon on my burger was like taking a bite out of a burnt wafer. Closer inspection showed it was obviously very old and no good. I didnt want to go though 15 min wait again so I just tossed the bacon. All in all prob the worst Wendy's experience I've ever had in my life and I used to go to many other locations with no issues.
