I walked over to this location on my work break as it's right next door, I bought a son of baconator combo and a wrap on the side to eat on my way back to work. As I was leaving I bit into the wrap and immediately there was a long curly black hair that was still stuck in the wrap as I pulled my mouth away to chew 🤮 I immediately turned back around to return it, I wanted to take a picture of it but my hands were full from my drink and bag of food, as I set them down on the counter the girl came over and I had told her what happened and she took it from me and threw it out right away so that I couldn't take a picture. They made me a new wrap but there's no way I have an appetite now, I ended up giving my lunch to a coworker and starving for the rest of my shift. So I wasted my money and lunch break going to this location in the first place. I was not offered compensation just a new wrap that I don't even want anymore, I'm not one to cause a fuss especially to service workers but I know full well if I had went in angry and demanding I probably would have been given at least my money back for the wrap. Of course because I'm nice about it and too shy to cause problems they think they can just get away with handing me a new wrap and problem solved... Nope, I will never be going back to this location. I have also contacted their help line in hopes of at least a refund on the disgusting wrap and to have this location looked into and make sure everyone's hair is completely covered and I have received no answer so now I will be coming public with this information to warn others to avoid this location. There was a couple women working that had super curly black hair and only wore a visor to cover their hair and I could see why I would have a long nasty black hair in my food, the visor is clearly not working for your hair type with it sticking out all different directions and you need to cover all of your hair! This could have been resolved by proper kitchen attire and not cheating regulars out of their money, most restaurants would rectify it by taking said item off the bill AND then offering to remake it if the customer still wishes to eat it. I most definitely didn't want another wrap and was handed one anyways which would have been even more food waste to refuse this wrap, that's why I gave it to a coworker and I don't even want to look at a wrap again for a while and now will be careful combing through all of my food from any restaurant. They didn't even ask me if I wanted another one they just handed it to me after she took the evidence away from me with a half assed 'sorry'. Yeah sure, thanks for the food...
Read moreDate of Visit: Thursday (July 18) night at 10:43 PM I recently visited Wendy’s and had a very disappointing experience. My friend and I ordered a Dave’s Triple with Cheese Combo with a Poutine and a large root beer, and a Double Baconator with a Poutine (no cheese curds) and a regular size Coke. We also asked for a large Frosty. Unfortunately, the drinks were warm, and the burgers and poutine were cold. To make matters worse, the burgers we received were not what we ordered—they were both the same and unlike anything we’ve had before. We didn’t receive any napkins or a spoon for the Frosty, which luckily we had a spare of. The Frosty itself was not the usual thick, ice cream-like texture but was light, fluffy, and had a weird whipped texture and taste. It was literally like foam, and after one bite, we couldn’t eat any more. After a few minutes, the foam from the Frosty settled, and it wasn’t even half full. We tried calling for two days to get a hold of someone to see if we could get the meal replaced, but there was no answer. So tonight (July 20), we made a special trip to speak to someone in person. We approached the situation with respect, explaining what went wrong and simply asking for our meal to be replaced. One of the employees even recognized us as regulars and said it shouldn’t be an issue. However, after speaking to three different workers, the last person, who claimed to be a shift manager, said she couldn’t help us because she couldn’t get a hold of the other manager. She offered us a small free Frosty or a one-time 10% discount on our next order, with no apology or sympathy for the inconvenience. My roommate suffers from cerebral palsy, so driving down there and going in to speak to someone was a huge inconvenience. The lack of apology or sympathy, and the minimal offer of compensation, was very disappointing. This location has always been my favorite, but after this experience, I doubt we will be back. Please train your management in customer service and people skills. Also, clean your counters and fix your handicap automatic door opener, as the button to open the door doesn’t work. After the lack of respect we were shown, I doubt we...
Read moreAwful experience. I was trying to have a chill day with the kids, grab some food before going to the pet store. The woman at the menu taking my order because quickly frustrated when I wasn’t sure what else I wanted. She asked if I could come to the window, I said no because I wouldn’t be able to decide. I highly doubt she was about to suggest items for me at the window. Then I was asking my 4 year old kid if she wanted a single or double and she repeated it 4 times when I said please wait. Then because aggravated and told me the nugget sauces extremely quick. I asked her to repeat. When we got to the window the woman was so fast with the payment machine, handed my food and as I was getting it sorted, and I was saying bye to the person on the phone she shook my drink and said 2x “here is your drink” - then when I said excuse me your behaviour is rude, she slammed the window in my face. Then when I wanted waited and she saw me, rolled the eyes, and I asked for a straw she said we don’t give straws because we have new lids then threw the straw at me. I then asked to speak to the manager and she wasn’t happy about it. Fricken spent $30 like what is even that these days. Two poutines, two small burgers and nuggies and a drink??? In what world!
Never again will I buy fast food until the teenagers return. These middle aged women are cranky, unprofessional and act as though they are being held against their will. I’m genuinely concerned for these woman and some men but the men generally are much kinder and...
