We had a fantastic night before the bill comes and we were gaslighted. Our server came in with a messed up bill, we were pointing out to her that she made a mistake. We were never rude, our voices were calm, and we were never disrespectful. Basically we just want to get the bill corrected so we could pay for our meal (there were only 2 bills on our table). All of a sudden she started to walk away and then another lady showed up, saying that "first of all, I don't appreciate your attitude to one of our server." Hey lady, it was the first time I ever saw your face tonight, why would you accuse us of having an attitude? How about asking us what happened first? You said that your server is crying and there are a lot of things going on in her head. We don't have any idea on what's going on in her head, we were there to eat and enjoy the company of our friends. Whatever she's going through, I hope that she'll feel better and get over it, but what infuriates me the most was the lady who gaslighted us. The lady said that her server is crying, and we were showing the server an attitude. We have no intention to hurt anybody's feelings, we just simply want to correct our bill and pay for what we orderd and call it a night. Next time, ask first what happened, investigate, do a proper customer service, and not because a person is crying, that person is automatically correct. Very poor...
Read moreI usually love coming here, but this experience was frustrating. We were seated at a table and the first waitress was rude, so we moved to a different section. New waitress was great, problem solved! I ordered a 3-4 drinks as the sign said highballs were on special. Then we ordered food. The appetizers were on special, we ordered 5 of them. When the food came out, only 1 dish was actually hot still. Sliders were barely lukewarm and the perogies as well. When it was time to leave, we had eaten almost everything, I wanted to take the rest home. The waitress actually told me that I was not allowed to bring anything home because the appetizers were on special. Would have been nice to know because I’d have ordered less to make sure I could eat everything. Then I found out that the watered down cranberry juice in my highballs did not qualify because only pop does. How was I supposed to know this?! I’ve never heard of this in my life! By that time I was too annoyed to argue about it, but I PAID for the food, it was my food and I can’t take it with me? It’s not like it was full orders or something and the table had 8 drinks as well! If you’re going to have a bunch of weird rules maybe let the customers know...
Read moreI frequent Woodys often as I like to support local. Last night we had a party of 7 and had the absolute worst experience. First we were served the wrong bottle of wine, when we asked for the proper one she abruptly came over and slammed the correct bottle of wine on the table. Was given plastic Vizzy orange wine glasses to drink our wine. Felt like I was camping. Our food was served - soggy bruschetta that seems it had been sitting on the bread all day. Cold chicken wings, a bowl of tachos that were soggy and cold without a serving utensil. We were given a stack of plates that were not washed. Not just a little bit of left over food but the whole plate was covered in what looked to be bbq sauce. Disgusting. When we showed the waitress it seemed that we were inconveniencing her to grab us clean plates. The whole experience was terrible and will not be returning until something changes. Service and food is continuing to go down hill. Too bad for our neighborhood pub. Also will add walked in at 6:50, never got served until 7:00 on the dot, when asked if we could do the two for one appetizer she said no order had to be in by 7:00. The order was...
