Little Mushroom Dining Lounge — Restaurant in Cambridge

Went for a second time to try their high tea. Was hoping to experience what I had the 1st time with food but was sadly let down. The male chef was nothing compared to the female chef (chef Sydney?) we had the 1st time. Night and day!! I had such high hopes to be wow'd again, but sadly, I was embarrassed to even have brought my friend there. Thank goodness they lowered their high tea price because I would have been pissed if I paid 60$ ea person.

We ordered the waffle in hopes it was an elevated waffle.. we got a soggy, not crunchy plain batter mix waffle with some fruit on the side and maple syrup. At least it was cooked for 16$? We witnessed another table send their food back twice. We hope this chef is able to improve his abilities in the kitchen.

This place has so much potential. I do hope they improve to their initial opening standards. But due to what we just went through, I am taking a star away.

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner with our close family and friends at the Little Mushroom Dining Lounge and chose their Greek food buffet option. Everything was delicious (especially the chicken), and we were so happy with how affordable it was for the quality and amount of food everyone received. Jason and his team were wonderful to work with from start to finish. They were organized, responsive, and had everything ready to go right on time. The whole evening ran smoothly thanks to their professionalism and attention to detail. The overall restaurant space was great — I loved that we were able to have the space to ourselves and having the bar area was also a nice touch. What a great little intimate space for a private party! We had 15 people and preset a customized menu based on the birthday girl's preferences within our budget. Beth was great to work with to sort out all of the details. Everything went smoothly the night of and the group had a lovely time. I liked that the costs were all up front including tax and tip so there were no surprises. I also liked that there was no room rental fee (based on a minimum spend). Cozy, intimate atmosphere with adjustable lighting and music to accommodate the seniors in our party. Plenty of parking and accessibility to the room and washrooms.
