This is a fun place to stop as you are in Campbell River. The ice cream is great, but of course it is a little over priced, as is just about anything in a tourist town. You are able to rent rods at the shop and go fishing right there on the pier. They only have one hook, so if that doesn't suit you, bring your own gear. The fishing off the pier can be great at the right time of the year, but I have never been there at that time. It can be fun to just walk up and down the pier as you take in the scenery.
