Moxies Campbell River Restaurant — Restaurant in Campbell River

We were so impressed! We honestly didnt expect much and were happily surprised (but I also think we ordered the right things off the menu!). We got the poke bowl and it’s huge and comes with cauliflower rice that tastes very much like the real deal so it’s a very healthy meal disguised as a yummy bowl. Then, based on the many reviews, I ordered the basil lemon salmon (page 4 under “mains”, $33.50 as of July 2025), and it did not disappoint! Incredibly flavorful dish. Our picky-eater 3-year old loved the buttered herbed salmon in my dish. We ordered the salmon also for our toddler, and it was a sizable portion fish for being a $14 kids menu item. We asked to swap the jasmine rice for french fries and they did no problem. It was maybe the fanciest kids meal we’ve seen in a while! Only wish it came with a dip-side of that butter sauce since the kid loved it so much :) I ordered a glass of the French rose: Gris blanc rose Gerard Bertrand, and it was delicious. Not too sweet or overly bitter and dry, oily aftertaste, balanced. And only like $13 for a 6 oz glass (you get worse in other places for $17/glass). We saw the next table over order the kids menu pizza for their kids and it did not look as good, it looked like a simple piece of bread with some tomato sauce on it, not very pizza -like at all. Had Dinned in once as my family and Ihad just moved to Campbell river and were looking forward to dinning at a nice restaurant unfortunately our joy was cut short that night and the experience was enough to keep me away, Waitress was rude went on her phone while taking my family’s table orders getting us to repeat ourselves, I had Thai Curry and the waitress had her hair in my food and acted very unpleasant when I requested she get me a knew one after that when bringing over drinks she had her fingers in our drinks, when I requested a manager or supervisor I was informed “they have better things to do than waste their time with little things” not to mention the fact some of your Waitresses (3 to be exact) were making fun of their tables out loud and ranting about their personal lives while myself and 2 other tables were trying to get service, as well as almost constant sound of dishes slamming and possibly shattering made this all a very unpleasant and unsatisfactory dinning experience, the food was decent but I’m not dinning out with my family to argue with your staff or listen to their rants an opinions about others looks, I hope you the best of luck and hopefully anyone else dinning here will have a better...

We had the Mahi Tuna and the Lemon Basil Salmon.... It was the best, most flavourful meal I have had in ages; in any restaurant. Each dish was presented fabulously. Each meal had wonderful seasonal veggies. It was amazing and flavourful.!!! I will definitely return for dinner. The food was definitely worth the price. If you can get past the fact that most mains in most restaurants are now above 30$ mark, bite the bullet and enjoy the amazing food at our Campbell River Moxies restaurant. Bravo to the chef. I'll be back for that again. Moxies food in Campbell River is quite amazing, actually. I'm not joking most food in restaurants lately are not worth the prices that it cost to eat out anymore... I'm spending my money at Moxies!!! At this rate it might be the only place I go. Still lots of choices on the menu for me to try ... its so good. Thank again the...
