Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Camrose

Aug. 19,2022 I understand busy that's why I had Papa John's take care of my supper or so I thought . Less than a week ago I called them and thanked them for a hot, lots of toppings great tasting pizza. That is not the case this time. Absolutely disgusting how could you send that out. Cool not hot and no that's not a sock or huge mushroom either. Where's the toppings? I sent a text to discuss this matter along with pics, even got a text back confirming . No such effort made its Sunday nothing. Some customer appreciation paid more than advertised 3 topping xl delivery I even tipped the driver. No excuses I talked to 2 people and still? No garlic dip but Ranch please got garlic. Listen to what I want I'm the one eating it. Remember it's the customers that keep you in business. Someone reached out from papa's try to make it better which in turn was way better than what was first served,, However the person I spoke to said it will be the best pizza you ever had. Sorry nope.. Victoria pizza best pizza I ever had. Place shut down after 30 yrs. Then Peter's pizza in Spruce Brove, then Mr. MIKES in Athabasca and locally Monte Carlo in camrose. Try these places Papa and you'll see what a best pizza you ever ate is. Kudos to the old owners of Papas it was awesome then. I do send a thank you out for trying to make it right. Consistency is everything.... just a note had to pay delivery a second time for the replacement i'll leave the pics on my post as a reminder that this is Not acceptable. Remember people it's your money don't just settle...

Ordered a Hawaiian "Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust"

Pizza was hot and properly cooked. Crust was indeed "stuffed" We did not perceive "Epic Garlic" It was more like epic salt. The garlic sauce on the side seemed like butter and mayonnaise with a hint of garlic. Texture and taste not appetizing.

The Hawaiian portion of the pizza tasted all right but needed more pineapple and meat. Speaking of meat, they use small pieces of bacon as opposed to other venues using ham. Cheese adequate but I suspect it to be adulterated with soy filler.

Will probably not order...

Ordered off the online menu. Was told that the "local deals" didn't exist and had to pay an extra $20. Pizza took an hour to deliver and was charged a delivery fee on top of the 40 bucks for two pizzas. Once here they "forgot" the cheese on our one pizza (ironic as it was supposed to have extra cheese) and the other was gummy. Both were cold when they got here. When I called them they put a 15 dollar credit on our account. Don't waste your money!!!! Order panago at least it's ok for the money. Would never order papa...
