Had the most shocking service I have ever experienced in a fast food restaurant. Went in today with my two grand kids, aged 7 and 8. I put down three coupons on the counter, and ordered a 2 can dine for 16.99 for my grand kids, and an onion rings and teen burger coupon for myself, and an iced latte coupon for myself. Both grandkids didn't want certain things on their burgers, like onions and pickles etc. This must have confused the cashier, because she changed my grand daughters order to a kids burger, and asked her if she wanted a bun?? I thought at the time, that maybe the cashier was steering me to a cheaper way for basically the meal. Surprisingly, a kids burger, onion rings and a teen burger was all that appeared on the tray. Wondering what I was going to eat, I questioned the cashier, who stated that the onion rings and teen burger was for the boy, and the child's burger was for the girl. I pointed out that I had given her a coupon for a 2 can dine for 16.99, and she contradicted me, and stated that I hadn't. I reiterated that I had, and she held firm that the three coupons on the counter, still in front of her, I had only given her two of them. With both my grandkids confirming, I produced the coupon page, with the three missing coupons. It was the first time a cashier called me a liar, not once, but twice. Needing to eat, I paid an additional 12.47 for a teen burger and fries. The grand kids each ordered 3.99 iced lemonades, and I paid the equivalent of all the coupons, but didn't get the drinks that would have come with the 2 can dine coupon. My grandson, later, went back to the counter to ask for a pop , and was denied. The reality is that I paid for two of them. The entire transaction was so unprofessional, it was unbelievable. I have eaten at A&Ws my entire life, and have never experienced anything like this. My advise is to avoid Manning Crossing. There is an A&W a block away, that I wish we would...
Read moreI love how the 3 latest good reviews are from obviously fake accounts. Same grammar and spelling and shotty profile pictures. Multiple flies in restaurant. Chef had attitude about making a Beyond Mozza Burger which by the way, is something you can order off the til screen since they did it no problem at the Riverbend location and at the Londonderry location. I got reimbursed because 2 times I ordered beyond mozza burgers and the chef (Josh) refused any condiments and gave me hard attitude when I came in and the manager had to openly scold him in the restaurant. It was horrible and I truly just wanted to get my new food and leave. The manager whos a phillipino female went out of her way, but the supervisor, chef named Josh and another Asian Boy who works there with glasses were glaring at me the whole time, and I was so polite it just blew my mind how they could have had such a bad attitude. Now I order from the Londonderry A&W instead. I'll never be back. Josh did end up apologizing after he heard me mention to the Manager who was apologizing profusely for his attitude and lack of professionalism. He literally asked me to define a beyond mozza burger not once, or twice, but FOUR times!!! I mentioned to the manager I worked in psych emergency so my patience level is very high, only then did Josh come out and apologize. Read moreHave been to this location many times but I fear yesterday will be the last. We wanted to order 2 Uncle cheddar bacon meals. We had the coupon and asked a new employee if we could get 2 orders as we only had 1 coupon. She had no idea so asked the lady withe the headphones handling the drive thru window. For the record we have seen her twice now and she is one of the rudest we have ever met. She mistakenly thought I wanted to order the Uncles meal and the next coupon down the list which I guess wasn't covered up. She went ahead and ordered the Uncles meal and a Teen with onion rings. No one asked if it was eat in or take out but this employee assumed take out I guess and put everything in a bag which she had charged me for. When I questioned her she said I had placed this order and shoved the bag back at me. I wanted to eat in and if she had got the order right I would have had 2 root beers to go with the meal but consequently I had only 1 root beer and was charged 15 cents for a bag I didn't want. Eventually she very rudely said she would give me the root beer to get rid of me and left to take care of her window. In the meantime the new employee stood there not knowing what was going on.
