A&W Canada — Restaurant in Edmonton

Just spoke with a very unprofessional lady over the phone at the restaurant.

I ordered through UberEats a few days ago and didn't get any utensils and dipping sauses so I called in today to give a reminder to provide them. Sauses were ordered and paid for but no option that I could find to request utensils. First off if someone orders a fountain soft drink, I believe I shouldn't have to request a straw but atleast provide an option to order it.

When I spoke with the lady she seemed annoyed I called and when I made my requests she said I should've used the options on the app and she's done it her self before. Before I could ask how/where the option, she starts to say I'm being rude and talks over me, not letting me get 1 word in and says bye and hangs up when i asked for her name.

This lady needs to realize that in the customer service industry, when a customer disagrees with you, tells you about your previous mistakes and gives you an option to avoid it again, it doesn't mean they are rude, it's could be called a difference of opinion for an example but definitely not any where close to rude. I never raised my voice, used profanity or any type of aggressive behavior like she did on the phone.

I'll be following up with the manger. Hopefully my food...

As Uber eats delivery driver I am suppose to pickup the order when I reach the restaurant as per instructions I shared the details in the app to the restaurant that’s consists of the customer name and order number as per the uber instructions I as asked my personal information and I refused, two Filipino girls said their manager require personal information of the delivery driver I explained this is my personal information which can be leaked and you guys have no proper information secondly system to keep it safe I was also told multiple drivers some time come for the same order and that is not true because order is issued to one driver and it’s a software system that is used for uber ride and eats, they just needs my personal information for gods know for what reason I know this totally illegal and this Busienss is included in selling personal info to third parties I will never go to buy or provide services to this location

We are on bikes and decided to go to A&W for something to eat. We soon realized they weren't going to let us take our bikes through the drive-thru so my wife and I decided that she would take the cab in the parking lot through the drive-thru and I would wait outside with the bikes. After a very lengthy time something the cab came around the corner and my wife wasn't in there. The cab driver says to me that she didn't have enough money so she got out to keep her place in line and that she needs $2 more, a yellow cab by the way. So I gave him a $10 bill and he gives me back $2. Well I didn't notice right away by the time I did he was pulling out of the parking lot and driving away. I went out to the window with my wife who was visibly upset, and the employee working at the window was completely rude and ignorant to us and refused to keep doing service with us and not only on top of that completely screwed...
