Sarpino’s Pizzeria Brentwood Bay — Restaurant in Central Saanich

Update, on June 14/22 the owners have announced this business is permanently closed. Ordered within the first couple months they were open and again in Feb/22. Great variety of ingredients but the pizza was just C grade, satisfactory but no competition to the others already established in town in my opinion. The crust & ingredients lacked distinct flavour or texture. May have been that both times are pizza was under a heat lamp for 10 mins. before we could get it? Did not reheat well, was hard & flavourless.

Both times we ordered, the phone went unanswered, & online deals were unavailable in store. In fairness, the clerk used call display to call back. But ordering was slow & cumbersome.

The store needs more staff to run efficiently. Both times there was 1 in-store staff & 1 driver. Both times the one staff on-site was on lengthy calls with customers who had complaints. It didn't leave a favourable impression.

Its evident they're trying, but for me the missed the mark. I shared all of this with head office by email before posting, so they could provide the franchisee feedback. I hope they succeed. Personally my business would go to Bicycle, Peninsula or Keating...

Claimed alfredo was the default sauce for cheese pizza, when we asked for tomato we were simply laughed at. If anything, that may be our own mistake, however, one employee did not serve us until another cane out of the kitchen, completely ignoring us while sitting apon the floor of Sarpinos. When the pizza did arrive, (charged $2 over the asking price), it did not even have the promised cheddar cheese, and instead of feta it had salt. Not to mention, when we very politely simply requested for either a replacement pizza, or a refund, the employee was incredibly aggressive, laughing and mocking us whilst the second employee sat in what seemed to be ecstasy. Whence we were sitting upon the curb the aforementioned ecstasy ridden employee sped off at speeds unknown and unbound by the laws of physics. Nearly crashing into us, screaming through the window, whilst holding up the middle finger, blasting punjabi rap filled with explicitives. The crust was...

This is my 2nd time ordering from this location. Tonight I had to wait an additional 15 mins for my order to be done after setting a later time to pick up the pizza than the default 15 mins from time of order. I ordered a small pizza, 4 sauces, and 20 salt n pepper wings... they completely forgot to give me my sauces, and the website does not indicate the wings would be boneless or like nugget style... the picture literally says for reference they show BONE-IN wings which is what I wanted and expected from the picture. I have been trying to call back this location several times tonight and they do not answer the phone and their voicemail box is full... very very disappointed in this, I am never going to order from...
