After finding some coupon in the latest coupon book that came out this week, my wife and myself decide today was a nice day for a drive and to try a new place out. So about a 30 min drive from Kitchener. Across from Elmira Raceway, we went to Gorge Country Kitchen. The staff was extremely friendly. And the restaurant was very clean. You could smell the tasty food. As soon as you got out of the car to enter the place and as you enter the restaurant. And I got traditional club and fries and my wife got Western Sandwich and fries and everything was extremely tasty and fresh. It for sure will be a restaurant in the future! Thank you for a great meal and wonderful service!

We ordered fish and chips, it was haddock fish, came with fries and salad. Also ordered pasta linguine with shrimp. The fries were a bit salty, but the pasta was really good. Also took lemonade and orange juice. Lemonade was refreshing. They have high chairs for kids, majority staffs were friendly, except once when we felt little embarrassed as when we entered, we saw many open tables, so we sat in once without waiting for any stuff. So one of them came to us and gave the menu, and also told us-you should have wait until someone showed you a table-so this behavior seems a bit inappropriate, as we have our kid with us who was a bit impatient and also we saw many tables were available, so we just grab one. I understand we should have waited, but still didnt like this behavior. Other staff seems really well mannered.

Visited this quiet a little establishment for breakfast on a whim while staying at Elora Gorge Park. It was somewhat busy when we showed up and to their credit they got a seated fairly quickly. The waitress came to take our drink orders and returned quickly with our drinks that asked us if we were ready to order? We said no since we haven't decided what we're going to eat, she left and then come back for probably 15 minutes. Overall the food was pretty good not great. I got the usual gorge meal which included eggs, bacon, homefries with toast. The food was plenty but under seasoned and the toast was dry and kind of strange tasting. 3.5 out of 5

Was on a day trip from Toronto and found this awesome restaurant. It’s away from the crowded touristy places and has a lot of parking. The waitress are helpful and very friendly. The booths are wonderful and spacious. We ordered some roasted turkey dinner and chicken Parmesan. The chicken Parmesan was cooked to perfection and was awesome. However The turkey dinner was a let down. The meat was dry AF with little to no moisture. The gravy helped but the pieces on the bottom were tough and chewy. However the portions were ginormous. Overall, the restaurant is a must try given that all other locations either are crowded or too much tourists.

Out for a walk the other morning my wife and I stopped in for breakfast here . My wife had the apple cinnamon pancakes . There were four large pancakes which were delicious, and one was brought home to be eaten next morning . I had the Gorge breakfast melt with sausage ( 3.35 extra) which comes with toast . The hash browns were undercooked for my taste , and no jam for my toast . The coffee was hot delicious and plentiful. We’ve come here often and it’s always good . Service was reasonably fast (usually busy here )and server was friendly and attentive.

We have always enjoyed eating at the Gorge Country Kitchen. They had a new menu since my last visit. There are some delicious new options, but also a noticeable hike in the prices. That said, the portions were enormous, and we all had food left for a second meal. We had fish and chips, a kid's meal of chicken fingers & fries, a turkey-cranberry club sandwich (AN INCH OF SLICED TURKEY!), and a turkey-avocado sandwich. The atmosphere isn't why you go to this restaurant. But it was packed at lunch on Friday — we had to wait in line.
