This was a fave spot pre-pandemic and this was our first time back since 2020. We won’t go back again. After waiting 40 minutes for our food, we asked our server how much longer it would be. The response? “I don’t know. There’s a party of 20 in the back.” A few minutes later a different person came to tell us that “according to your chit in the kitchen, you’ve only been waiting 30 minutes. Your order is right after the party of 17.” And walks away. One of the guests at our table is diabetic and so we asked our server for a piece of toast and jam while we waited. She took out her order pad and asked how many pieces of toast we wanted to ORDER. Nope. No thanks. Went to the serving station in front of the kitchen where some servers were congregated. Stated that we had been waiting over 40 minutes for food, someone at our table was feeling ill, could we PLEASE get a piece of toast. A women approached from the side and demands “I’M the MANAGER. Why are YOU talking to MY staff?” Then proceeds to loudly berate me for complaining when they so busy with the party of 14! (20, 17, 14? How big was this group actually?) I was so embarrassed and SHOCKED that I literally walked out the front door to take a little walk and calm myself. Other diners walking out at the same time were also shocked at the way the MANAGER spoke to me and asked if I was ok. I did return to eat and our server apologized profusely, but we never did see the MANAGER again and our breakfast was over $100 with tip. NEVER. GOING. BACK.
