Nestled in a hidden corner, right next to the Delta, Brakish is a treasure that beautifully blends traditional coastal flavors with modern charm. My recent visit left me impressed. Also glad I visited because it was their last day of the season, which meant $5 draft beers and 1/2 priced cocktails. The menu at Brakish boasts a standard selection of local seafood, featuring mussels, clams, and lobster. I enjoyed the smash burger and fries. One of the standout features of Brakish is its impressive array of local craft beers. From crisp lagers to rich stouts, the beer selection is a testament to the area's thriving craft brewing scene. It's the perfect accompaniment to the seafood feast on offer, providing a true taste of the region. But it's not just about the beer; Brakish also boasts a creative list of signature cocktails. These libations are expertly crafted, offering a refreshing twist on classic seaside sips. Don't miss the chance to savour one of their unique concoctions; they are a delightful journey. The restaurant's outdoor patio is where the true magic happens. With harbour views and the soothing sound of the water in the background, dining here feels like a vacation. The ambiance is simply enchanting, making it the ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a memorable gathering with friends and family. What truly sets Brakish apart, though, is their exceptional service. The staff is not just attentive; they're genuinely engaging. They're eager to share their passion for the menu, offering recommendations and ensuring that every detail of your dining experience is perfect. Their warm hospitality elevated the experience. Brakish is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience that captures the essence of harbourside dining. With its seafood offerings, craft beer selection, inviting outdoor setting, and top-notch service, Brakish is a place to re-visit.

A wonderful patio!! Taylor and Carlos provided us with excellent service! Very reasonably priced. Great selection of beers and the pork tacos were some of the best we had!!! Only drawback was the county music the dj was playing….ugh. Enough crying about trucks and dogs and work😆.

Super friendly staff, tasty food and great location! Don’t miss their steam mussel if you ever come here, there are 4 different flavour to choose! Usually we don’t get to have steam mussels because my partner and I don’t drink alcohol, and most restaurants cook them with wine.

Went here for dinner tonight with my girlfriend and her friend, during which we had one of the worst service experiences to date. I will start off a positive, the food was pretty good (only reason for 2 stars not 1), it could have been better but we've definitely had worse. Now to the not so good... I could understand if they were slammed but there were max 6 tables with people during our visit, not big parties either 3-6 per table (it was kind of overcast so not many people at their outdoor setting). The waitstaff was running around like chickens without heads, they were fumbling with plates, showed little to no menu knowledge when asked about dishes, constantly back and forth from tables to kitchen/bar because of forgotten items and just plain bad service. At the end of our meal my girlfriend didn't finish her supper and we wait for 25+ minutes trying to flag a server down to get a box and our bill and it wasnt for lack of trying either. It could have been just an off night but I don't think we will be coming back, especially because the menu has shrunk to maybe half it's previous size.

I know I'm dragging them through the mud a bit here but it was probably some of the worst service I've had anywhere to date. We've both worked in service and it takes a lot for us not to tip because we both know how much tips mean, but tonight was the exception. There was no tip was left from either of our two...

So I am kind of torn about our visit here. The location is great and their outside yard area is unique, and the perfect spot for dining with your kids. However, the service was extremely slow and it took forever for a waitress to come take our drink order, and even longer for us to get our food. I ordered the mussels with the tomato cream broth at the waitress's recommendation. The broth was pretty watery and tasteless and at LEAST half of the mussels were undercooked and unopened. The other half were dried out and overcooked. How you screw up mussels that badly ON PEI I just don't know. To her credit, when I pointed it out halfway through my meal, the waitress immediately offered to rectify it and brought out basically an entire new order of mussels. The broth was better, with actual chunks of tomato and onion, and the mussels were all cooked correctly. She even comped my husband a beer for the long wait between drinks. Overall, they managed to salvage our experience and I would give them another shot next time...
