Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Charlottetown

I go almost every day, I live Alone and work ALOT so it’s my go to because I am tired and hungry. The ingredients are ALWAYS fresh the meats always hot, fresh, moist and delicious. I go different times of day and I am not disappointed with the quality of food. I especially like going after 3:00 pm from office it’s when everything is coming from grill and all the veg are fresh and Christ! Like every place of business there are a couple of employees that can absolutely RUIN your experience and unfortunately this particular outlet is half and half. I am someone that feels the quality of intention when it comes to food preparation and there are times unfortunately the lesser staff have ruined my food experience. Their faces are unfriendly, their annoyance for your verbal preference IS OBVIOUS. They grab ingredients with hand throw it in the bowl ECT. If food wasn’t so good I would NOT go back. We just got delivery from Mucho Burrito via Skip and we were very underwhelmed. It wasn't even reminiscent of Mexican food. Portions were large but it was not great. My husband and I both had specified we wanted jalapeños as toppings and we struggled to find them in our food because they were such tiny pieces. I got vegan cheese and it had no flavour, like to the point I questioned why I bothered getting it. The menu online showed a variety of vegetables in the harvest veggie blend and all I got was a small handful of boiled sweet potatoes. The food didn't have a lot of flavour and to us, it tasted like a very whitewashed Americanized version of Mexican food. My husband ordered a churro as well and it was missing; we got the dulce de leche but no churro. We will not be back and will be sticking to other Mexican restaurants. Mucho Burrito in Charlottetown is amazing! Their owner Raj Patel goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has an amazing experience. The rest of their staff is so friendly and knowledgeable of the product that they are selling which helps when you deciding what to order. Their food is so fresh and has some amazing flavours.
