Subway — Restaurant in Chester

Ok so I’m just passing through Chester and stopped to get some gas and then saw the subway next door. I usually eat subway 3-4 times a week. Today Sunday March 10th 2024 around 2pm I was greeted by two super friendly girls. The girl with the accent made my salad as if my mom was making it for me. She cut up the tomatoes and cucumbers ( not in half) but in 4’s! It was so much easier to eat and you can actually taste the full flavour when the veggies are chopped up. The meat was heated to perfection and the dressing was spread around ( not in one corner) like the other places do. I felt like a customer and not just a number. I enjoyed every bite because of this experience. The place was very organized and clean, all veggies and proteins were filled in the containers. The glass wasn’t smudged and the soda fountain area was organized and easily accessible ( away from the main door) unlike other locations. Was just into this subway this morning and the person working was AMAZING! They were so friendly and so helpful when deciding what sandwiches etc we wanted. They were so polite and had the best smile the whole time we were there ordering. Subway is subway is subway. The food is the same no matter which one you go to, it’s just the freshness, cleanliness and employees attitudes that differ. I will 100% be back to this subway SOLELY because of this employee! That said, the store was also super clean and the meat, veggies etc were all fresh and looked super good. Very much enjoyed the whole experience. Fantastic food here. UPDATE I’ve gone here 4 times recently and they have NEW STAFF, and they are VERY STINGY. I have a sub with only 3 toppings. Lettuce, olives, picked. I ask for extra olives, less pickles and regular amount of lettuce. It was a lettuce sub. There was 6 olives, and 8 pickles. I pay full price for a sub, and there’s ten other toppings I could get but don’t, so there is no excuse for being this stingy. The staff are waaaay too stingy with the toppings, and in my opinion are not friendly. I would never go here again. Once or twice can be ignored but 4 times this is how they...
