3 Strikes your out!! The third bad experience in a row, #1 The fries tasted like an old deep fryer. I did call in and let the owner know, he didn't seem to care. #2 placing the order was like pulling teeth.. She didn't understand anything because she was new, maybe you could stand by your new staff member and train her?? My order was messed up I ordered a plain cheese burger combo but ended up getting the guys order that was in front of me, a double bacon burger.. I order plain burgers for a reason, and I absolutely hate bacon so It was not nice opening up my lunch and it was totally screwed up. The second disappointing lunch in a row.. Now for #3. I ordered for me and my co-worker plus a box of treats it came to $27 my lunch was a grilled chicken salad with honey mustard dressing. She asks me if I need a bag to carry everything which was pretty obvious, I asked where the salad was and found it standing in the brown lunch bag with the burgers and fries.. what the?? So I get the plastic bag to put the box of treats in and the salad, pack it all up and ask if I can have a 2 dressing for my salad, she has to go back and ask if I can and then tells me its .50 cents. what kind of crap is that. I get me salad back to the office and the lettuce has brown spots everywhere, a few really nasty pieces that totally turned my lunch if I could post a pic I would. Read moreI picked up an 8 inch cake from the already made freezer section at our DQ the past week. It was a regular ice cream cake decorated simply with the frosting in large swirls on top and sprinkles. After serving it up I noticed my little one was gagging and having trouble eating it. I come to find out wax paper was left on the top of the cake and then icing was placed on top of it. My little one is non verbal and gagging on wax paper that is not supposed to be part of an expensive ice cream cake is un expected. YES, I called the store Saturday and spoke to a female who hung up mid sentence and never called back. YES, I called back on Monday and spoke to a male, the manager. He said he is present during all the cakes being made and that is impossible. I indicated I HAVE my receipt and also HAVE the wax paper as proof. This Dairy Queen is not known for caring about their customers. He would not acknowledge it, or even care that a child almost choked on wax paper in an ice cream cake purchased there. He offered me a medium blizzard, which I declined. A simple acknowledgement of it, even requesting my receipt, the wax paper to discuss further and perhaps indicate he would talk to staff so this doesn’t happen some other child. Nope, nothing. Myself and kids went to Dairy Queen for a treat, and my daughter wanted to run in an grab dairy free dilly bars. When she came out I was astonished to see a box of 6 cost almost $20. I went back in to see if we could return them, as for that price they could get multiple things somewhere else.
The employees stood in there for 10 minutes while the ice cream was likely beginning to melt in the box, speaking around me and looking at me but speaking in a language that was understood between them only. I find this quite rude, to speak to eachother and look at me, but not in a way I can understand or speak back. The employee then “tried” to call two managers. She came back to say she could not get a hold of them, but they don’t offer refunds anyways. I found this rediculous considering no where does it state there is a no refund policy, and we never even left the store with them.
I find this encounter quite unprofessional, and certianly not that of customer service. My family and I will not be back, and we will make sure to warn those around us of the disrespect around a...
