Disappointing Experience with Chipotle manager (5pm on April 10) & DoorDash
We placed a Chipotle order through DoorDash today, but unfortunately, only half of our meal was delivered. When I reached out to DoorDash, they refused to reimburse me — frustrating to say the least.
I then drove to Chipotle to try and resolve the issue in person. I asked to speak with the manager, who immediately insisted that everything had been bagged correctly. He offered no apology, no willingness to investigate, and took no responsibility. No questions were asked of his team — just a quick dismissal that made the situation even more frustrating.
Thankfully, another employee named Manesha stepped in. She politely asked for the order name, checked with the team, and quickly confirmed that part of the order had, in fact, been left out. She also mentioned they had tried to contact DoorDash with no response. Her honesty and willingness to help were appreciated — and a stark contrast to the manager’s attitude.
Mistakes happen, but there needs to be a better quality control process before orders go out. People rely on these services when they’re in a pinch — extra care should be taken.
More importantly, the manager seriously lacked basic customer service skills. A little accountability, empathy, and problem-solving could’ve gone a long way. Had he taken a moment to listen, check with his team, and apologize, I wouldn’t be writing this review.

Read moreI order from Chipotle in Langley regularly and have always been satisfied, as well as many other locations. We were very happy to see a location opening in Chilliwack. Well not so much any more. We went and got our usual orders three bowls. When the clerk was serving my wife she got Steak for her protein as always the clerk scooped some steak and shook out about 1/2 the contents out and pored the 1/2 scoop into my wife’s bowl when my wife questioned her about this the clerk again got about 1/2 a scoop and said if you want more it’ll be an additional charge to which my said no thank you. I had the same issue when ordering the steak bowl for my daughter this clerk was very rude. I said that the scoop is supposed to be full not 1/2 full that’s the portion size. She again if you want more it’s an additional charge. I will say while waiting in line I was watching another clerk serving customers and they were getting the usual portions. Then out of the blue when it was our turn to order this other clerk came up to start serving and took over serving she was rude and hard to understand and had zero customer service skills. Read moreFood is great, usually fresh (best to not go before noon if they're re-using anything from the night previous). Service is sometimes on point, mostly not though while management or shift leaders are in proximity, when its just normal employees they're always happy to make you happy. Managers/leaders smile at you but they're ultimately there to nickel & dime you. Rewards have been misused by them, inputting wrong thing into the system (probably not on purpose, redeemed chips & queso, they entered it as chips separately with queso so my points were used for only a queso and still charged me for chips) To my understanding you're able to get salsas or anything else youd have in your burrito/bowl on the side but they have tried to charge me for half a cup of salsa on side. this has never happened at any other chipotle in the years I've went to them.(double meat, guac, and queso already ordered)
Its the little things that have me questioning why I'm spending so much money here week to week with the things ive experienced.
Could be a chain issue, could be a franchise...
