July 31, 2025 is the third and final time we will eat at this Quizno's. Unfortunately it is the ONLY QUIZNO'S in Chilliwack; and the attitude shows. The first visit (fall 2024) the store was a mess and in need of a serious renovation. The service was adequate but not exceptional and the food mediocre. After the renovation (spring 2025) they reopened and the place looked cleaner and fresher but the food was still uninspiring. Yesterday's meal was absolutely awful and the service was abysmal. Three stikes; and you're out! The two young girls working there spoke with very heavy Punjabi accents that were difficult to understand as they rattled sentences off a mile a minute. The sandwich (Black Angus) was overloaded with sauce but worse; the Chili was literally water. When this was brought to one of the girl's attention her response was: "That's the way it comes". Well that's not true and I've seen locations try to pass off watered-down Chili before. We've eaten at Quizno's - throughout the Lower Mainland, the Island and Interior of BC - and frequently at one location in Surrey where we lived for many years, so we are quite familiar with the quality standard. This location fails in so many ways. It needs to be taken back by corporate and reassigned to a franchisee who actually cares. The fact that there are no other locations in Chilliwack gives this lousy one a monopoly. But, there 7 successful Subway locations in the Valley and a Firehouse Subs nearby, and they will be receiving our business from now on. Read moreThey make you pay a MANDATORY TIP!! We’ve been coming here for the last 4 years as a treat. It’s fast food, we aren’t expecting a top of line meal. It’s pleased us when we want fast food. However, this is the last time we go there. So, when I go in I always say “I don’t need the receipt.” I never noticed or ever questioned this before. My husband went in this time and they made him pay a tip even though he didn’t have the option come up or chose an option for a tip. He was forced to pay it. And if he didn’t ask for one or look at his receipt, he may have not even noticed. This can’t be legal to force someone to pay 20%, regardless if it’s only under $5 or not. Can they do this? He may have chose a tip option or he may not have. That’s his choice. This isn’t a restaurant where you sit and the waitress is paid less and expect tips to make up for the difference. This is a fast food. We will not be returning. It’s stealing peoples money and they may not even realize it either.

I had been made an awful sub and called the store to explain what I had, was not what I ordered. The "manager/owner" said I was wrong, since she knows how to make subs and so forth. I told her that was nice, however she isn't the one that made my sub. She was sitting and talking on her phone. When I said that she back peddled so fast saying that the woman who had made my sub has been there over 7 years and knows how to make great subs.
Except for the fact that these people have only been there for 6 years. When they just took over I just started working at M&M Meats beside them and our boss would go there regularly to get subs. The owners previously, had two females that ever worked for them.
At the end of it, if the owner can't own up to the simple mistake that was made, but rather lie to the customer over and over they don't deserve any...
