If you're looking for good, greasy, old-style Chinese food that you grew up on, this is the place. They've got cheap, delicious Chinese food. The almond chicken is just as good as the high-end places charging $18 a dish—it was super crispy on the outside and soft inside. The chicken chow mein uses small noodles (I prefer bigger ones), but it was still delicious. The ginger beef was soft and not chewy. Chicken balls aren't my favorite, but the kids love them—you need to order the sauce on the side. The sweet and sour pork was spot on, and the honey garlic pork was perfect. The egg rolls are your typical ones and delicious. Overall, if you want home-comfort Chinese food, this is the place to go. Don't come here expecting health food. **Cons:** No chopsticks given (but I didn't ask), and they don't have prawns in black bean sauce.

The lady that worked on Thurs, Mar 2nd at the Vedder location is extremely rude and doesn't treat every customer with the same courtesy. She went out of her way with the customers before me and treated me like I was a nuisance and was disrespectful. Instead of looking at me and letting me know my order was ready she slid my order down the counter at me and said "here" and then walked away. She didnt even put it in a take out bag. Clearly doesn't understand how to treat customers. The supposed lemon chicken was horrible. It's pounded out so thin, you're basically just getting greasy batter.

Well. I know not where to start.Have never visited this place before , but decided to use the take out window for pick quick up a few weeks back. I ordered two three item meals. There was difficulty ordering as individual was not proficient in English. I took my time , but after three attempts the manager came to the window. She immediately verbally attacked me. Aggressively told me I ordered wrong . I reordered , got my food and left. Food was not bad for the price. I got what I paid for. NOW HERE COMES THE FUN PART ! Went back yesterday . I decided to order inside , as I had a prior language problem . Same server as on my prior visit. The server was great. Friendly . I wanted to order three meals. Got the first two ordered . I will admit I was slow on making a decision on the third. Server said : “No problem “. I need to mention this was 3pm in the afternoon . There was not another customer in sight! All of a sudden the owner / manager storms from the kitchen and pushed the server aside. She said very rudely : “ What you want ? “ You can ‘t make up your mind “ ? You taking too long ?” I looked at her and said “ We are doing fine here.” She continued to glare at me. Now, I am not one to accept rude and unacceptable behaviour from anyone . I said: “ This is the second time I have been here and you have spoken to me rudely. You seem to have a problem with me or are you just rude in general? I should have read other comments , for I now know ,she just generally rude. There is no one here so you need to calm down”. She backed down and took my order. She barked a price at me . I handed her the money . She glared at me. I glared back. She then literally threw the money back at me . Told me to get out. I turned to leave and I heard her mutter a profanity under her breathe. Thinking I heard what she called me wrong I turned around and said : “What did you call me ? You need to know that you are a bitch! Rude and bitchy. “ She turned to me and called me the “C “ word. Not once , but three times. I was beyond shocked . I had my son with me. I told her she should be ashamed of herself .I told her it is a word I can proudly say I have never called anyone. As I headed out she was still cursing at me. She then said : “you call me bitchy , so I call you a C**. I turned to her , looked at her , and calming said : ‘ It is now perfectly clear to me why your restaurant is empty. I have never wished ill on anyone , but I hope you lose your...

Our family's second try at Chinese food in Chilliwack, with our first experience being very disappointing at the Canton Garden. To our relief the staff was actually Asian, so we knew our experience would be more authentic right from the get go.

The food was very similar to what we have come to expect from Chinese food you would find in the food court of any Vancouver mall as the food was on the level of being fast food rather than that you would find in the more established restaurants in Vancouver. However compared to our last experience, this food was much more authentic and enjoyable.

The wonton soup was standard, nothing special, but still good. The chicken fried rice was good, but found that it was a bit short on meat. Finally our deep fried prawns were amazing.

The interior of the restaurant is a bit sub-par, not somewhere you would want to take a date to impress them, but you can't argue with their prices. Almost everything on their menu is only $5.99, so for the price you can't beat these guys.

I was very happy with Ginkgo and with these prices I will defiantly return for more, however next time I will probable use their drive-thru instead of eating in. (Something I've never seen for a...

I have been ordering from this place ever since I moved to Chilliwack 11 years ago. The food has always been enjoyable but after being treated like trash the last time I visited, I vow to never return. When I arrived to pick up my $100. order for a small banquet, I did as I was instructed and I asked for a credit for a previous order when I was short-changed for one item. Even though I was polite about it, she immediately accused me of being rude. I and everyone else within earshot was astounded at her reaction...I tried to find out exactly what made her think I was being rude but that only made her angrier. She checked a little notepad under the counter and saw the note which was made regarding the missing $8.00 item from the previous order. Just the same, she continued to say that I was being rude and finally, told me "to go somewhere else'. Perhaps she was having a bad day, a fight with her husband or she thought of a clever way to get out of paying me for that missing item...I don't know. But I DO know that there is no excuse for treating a loyal customer that way. As a result, they can kiss all future business from my friends...
